Hi, I am presently on a wait list for an Insurgent frame. I’m wondering which version of the Wreckoning you were on before this bike. Someone at Evil almost convinced me to to just get the Wrecker frame, but I’m holding out for the Insurgent for the extra nimble feeling. Thanks!
Isn’t the grey Zebb is the stock fork for the full Insurgent 27.5? So it seems you were able to fit a 29 and the difference between grey and black Zebb are just the travel numbers? Nice vid!
Its a grey Zeb Ultimate 29 fork we swapped out with the black version. Looks great with the frame, 27 and 29 forks are different as are MX and 27 Insurgent frames.
Do you think the chain stays are a bit to short? I am thinking of buying this bike as a frame. I am currently running a Trek Slash 9.9 2021. Does the short chainstay make this bike feel twitchy? And how does this bike handle steeper climbs? I would also choose size Large (I am 190cm). How tall are you? And do you think it would be possible to run a 180mm zeb with 29er wheels considering the zeb sits deeper in its travel than the fox 38 or would this make the big to long a slack to the point where it makes it hard to weight to front wheel and the bike becomes unbalanced? Thanks in advance ;)
Hi, I wouldn't have ridden an Evil for years if I found the rear end too short. It makes it feel super fun, easy to manual and easy to move around, never found it twitchy no. I'm 6ft1. The bike climbs freakishly good for a 170 travel bike. I'd stick to 170 fork for a balance of up and down riding. Checkout freehubmag's ride review on youtube.

It was a black v3 Wrecker 👌. Great bike but I prefer the mullet Insurgent. I've a grey size medium in stock if you're in the UK. Cheers

Sick bike. Suggest a small size for someone who is 5’6”?

Not weighed it tbh its a bit irrelevant to me 🤣. With super gravity tyres and pedals and one up tooll I'd imagine about 33lb
