Kidding aside, I kinda like Colin explaining the rules on when spectators are allowed to help the rally drivers.

Is the reason why you’re being subtle surrounding the engine bay and information regarding the car due to teams not wanting to share certain aspects of the car openly on the internet?

Correct! Filming and exposing the details of what's under the hood is avoided to respect the teams privacy so that the design of the cars isn't exposed to everyone, but more importantly rival manufactures.
This rally sure is hard on so many, nuts!

Do drivers and codrivers wear cooling vests during service?
I wonder if the mechanics just know the car so well or if they have a spare car/engine in the service area so the mechanic that talks to them on the phone can actually look at the spare car and see the same parts as the crew working on the car.
We know these cars pretty much inside out and backwards, but we also have spare engines in the SP

Carbon fiber body panels should be banned from rallying.
Small puncture and 1/4th of the car is ripped apart as we saw with Sordo.
Here the body panels that's made from good old sheet steel held up, really well, but all the carbon fiber parts ripped apart.
Just go back to ordinary cars anyone can buy and turn them into a 500+hp Rally car.
Ditch Hybrid, no need for it, gets the costs down again to sensible levels and cars that aren't destroyed from a simple puncture.
Lets make Rally GREAT again.

Its a shame if Neuville wins the title, never takes any risks and is not specially fast, this new point system is like made for him.
But when you do this for long time and competitors are parts timers and also this point system...now or never for Thierry.
Understandable but sometimes it’s better to not take risks especially in a rally like this

I'm rooting for elfyn to get it one year and not a fan of the points system, but to be fair to Neuville he has won 20 rallies I don't think you can say he's not fast or capable of winning a championship
if nevuville really wins the title,then well deserved and nothing wrong, all competitors under the same rule, a smart driver knows when need to push and risk , full send all the time, win or crash not the right approach for chasing championship title , unless in very desperate situation like must win to keep the championship chance alive.
@@bukwok Sure thats kind of true, but that aproach havent been very good for him in last decade. Example, he has been too happy and comfortable for a win and havent pushed on Power stages.
