How to paint dot mandalas with Kristin Uhrig-#29 Snowflake

This tutorial will show you how to dot paint a snowflake mandala on a 12x12 canvas. It is intermediate in difficulty.
I use RedHeart Crystallite Crochet hooks as my dotting tools in this video. You can purchase them on Amazon. I also use a small Essence manicure stylus dotting tool, also available on Amazon or at many beauty supply stores. The Martha Stewart acrylic craft paints I used are listed in the video. The glue Used for the flat back Swarovski Crystals is GS Hypo cement.
Total time it took to paint was about three hours.

This has got to be the most gorgeous thing I've seen done on youtube as far as crafting/art projects. I kept watching and wondering if there was anyway I could do this. Then when I start looking more I see you have so many of these dot type tutorials so I think I need to start at the beginning and take it from there. You are a true artist. This is beyond gorgeous! I absolutely love it.
I could watch you paint all day. Your music is perfect in the background (no crazy, loud music), your explanations are clear, and your editing makes everything flow. Thank you for creating such informative, relaxing videos - now on to teaching others on TH-cam how to make effective videos. Maybe you could hold a class?? haha I love your talent and creativity - thank you for helping those of us who can't space things properly. Your video makes me feel I can actually do this!

This video and this beautiful design seems to be my all time favorite.. I keep coming back to it! I made two of them on canvas and gave them to my mom and my mother in law and painted this design on the inside of a wood bowl. You really captured the beauty of fallen snow in your design. I love it so much. This year I am again coming back to your tutorial and I want to make another one like your design but will try on a bigger canvas. This is just so beautiful! Thank you for sharing this sacred art! I wish I had a mum like you, I was always crafty but didn't have encouragement so I'm only getting back into it at 46!! I did shed a tear cos I lost my daughter in 2010, she would have loved this video, and making these snowflakes with me! You used her favourite colours too! She was 8 years old, a beautiful sparkling snowflake herself. Maybe I can dedicate making them for her. Thanks for inspiring me, love from England to you!☺xx

After a fresh snow at night time I used to love to go outside in the moonlight and look at the snow because it twinkled like it was covered in glitter. I love 💜 snowflakes. It's my most used decoration at Christmas ❄️
