I flew this morning with the temp @ 8 F. My record low for a flight is -11 F. No, I'm not a macho man. I fly right outside my house after doing my pre-flight in my garage which I keep at 55-60 degrees during the winter here in North Central, PA. I'm outside for no longer than 8-10 minutes. I won't fly if the wind isn't below 5 mph. Why don't you guys consider taking a warmup break after each flight or two? Sit in one of the cars, chat and warmup for a few minutes before going out for another flight?
8F......WOW...but it does help not to have to go someplace to fly....that helps a lot... and you have a great point on the "warmup break"....definatly a good idea and something i will incorporate...thanks very much for the tip..
Wow, great point on the landing gear for the Aeroscout, Tell Paul it's a Beginner tax. lol Great flying guys. not much damage for a whole lot of fun. Cheers! paint by numbers.
Paul's Fingers were getting nervous after initial Plug in of lipo and test of the controls of his Aeroscout 1.1 meter 😅🤣 The Airplane was determined to take off right off the table 😄🛩 Oh well that stuff happens sometimes in all of the excitement in anticipation of a RC Airplane Flight 😊🛩👌
