Tell me about it. Between a wrist injury and Covid my gains have suffered. The good news is that I neglected my running game, which is getting back on point. When I'm finally able to lift again I'm not going to neglect my running. It's such a painful road to build up running stamina. I don't want to have to go through that again. lol

Some of the stuff like the weights wouldn't really be suitable for a public park. But pullup bars and dip ststions would be awesome. Adult sized monkey bars would be rad too.

I had a very odd dream that the Buff Dudes showed up to help me hook up my mini-split heat pump.
Duke was helpful, Brandon and Hudson put up a pole, wrapped it in padding and spent the whole time jumping up as high as they could to chest bump the pole.
So weird.

Next : add a wood structure with some pulleys and cables with space to add free weights to do pec flies, tricep pulldowns and all types of cable exercises
Probably the most underrated TH-cam channel out there
No major addition to the gym guys, just a suggestion. Run some screws or pins through the 4x4 and into the pipes. That will keep them from possibly rotating while in use. Gravity may hold them in place for now, but in a few weeks when Duke starts knocking out muscle ups for speed, it could get dangerous. Outside of that, nice work DIY Duke.

you can put solar powered lights there so in the early morning when your backing out you can see them , but they also will work if you are doing workouts early in the morning before the sun is out or after it has gone to bed
I have solar powered lights in my backyard gym. They are a nice addition to an outdoor gym.

3:22 I do some work securing the wood poles into ground, and concrete is not a way to go for a long run. It will hold great but it will rot the wood much faster. So one more reason not to use it :)

I gotta say I absolutly loved that outdoor gym, but how does that works exactly? is that like a community gym, so anyone can walk in and do a workout, or is that more like YOUR outdoor gym? I mean that looks like it's in your yard, so I'm guessing it's not a open gym? It's just that if I were to do this where I live, people would either use it or just steal my equipment. But it doesn't look like that would happen here; it looks like a safe and quiet place. Anyways, I'd love your input on that.
