Just a little compression and then some Reverb. Thank You Master Stevens I have been searching for over a Year now. Yea for that Sound, Even Ben Woods said "I just plug into HIS Rig I dont know what it's set at......To you S.S. I say, Much Respect and Love Broski.
I HAD THAT GUITAR AND SOLD IT, FOR THE REASON THAT IT HAS A MEDIUM PLASTIC TONE, I GOT A CHET ATKINS GIBSON, AND THE SOUND IS TREMENDOUS AND CRISP AND NATURAL

Hi Steve! I have a Multiac Nylon ACS-SA, which I bought because of _you_ and Al Di Meola! And I adore it - even the more with its looks which always gets compliments. So, I'm hopefully asking you if you could possibly convey them the idea to make Multiac Grand Concert Deluxes with similar sunburst colors too (or maybe transparent red or something else not typical to classical guitars)? It would be so cool, but they wouldn't listen to me alone ;) Btw. I don't rate top guitarists but when I talk about my favorites and the ones I appreciate the most (and the reasons being in multiple simultaneous criteria/abilities) I put you in the bunch of guitarists every (nonclassical) guitarist should know and listen to. Thanks for all the joy, energy and everything Steve. 🙏🤩
Have you ever worked with Eric Dover? Haven't seen him in decades, but know he's been in CA for a long time. Super guy and phenomenal artistic type. Would be cool to see an inhouse session with you two- Thx for considering- Marc
No doubt that is fantastic playing technique. The big question really is what kind of gear (amp, EQ, reverb, delay, pre-amp or any type of plugins were used to get that tone out of the guitar? As I've played a few Godins like this straight into an amp, I can say you're not going to get that awesome full deep bass tone no matter how much adjustment on the guitar you make. I believe the only way you can produce the sound that Steve has produced is by adjusting the frequencies through audio engineering gear (I have a cheap 1998 Epiphone that I can get somewhat close to this sound through plugins). If the Godin really sounded like this straight out of the box and into an amp, I'd honestly pay twice of what they are selling for. Great demonstration Steve, but would appreciate greatly if you could educate us on what kind of gear you are using to get that magnificent sound.
Sounds like some nice stereo reverb and compression. But no tricks here - I have always found Godin instruments to have extremely powerful, wide range pickups. They sound massive plugged into a good PA system. I play a Godin mandolin and that tiny thing just sounds HUGE into a big PA system
I am looking at purchasing one. I am not sure what amp to get with it though. Mostly want home practice and small room solo performance I am used to a very good tone, I mostly play electric and have a few Friedman amps ( BE100, SS 100 and Twin Sister) and Tom use Anderson, Friedman and Music Man electrics. Should I get a Roland Cube 30 or something fancy like LR Baggs? I want a nice high headroom natural sound, I will most likely add a Strymon Reverb to the setup.
Estafa . No tenéis Vergüenza . Esta guitarra costaba 1800€ y hoy la subieron ha 3.000€ godin los clientes te dicen adiós Adiós para siempre. Por cierto suenan ha plástico y bote.
I play the Godin grand concert SA. There are issues. It is not a concert classical guitar. the neck has fret markers which up set me. the neck has a radius on the fingerboard and the neck is also too thin not radiused on the back side as a "classical" guitar neck must be. So many issues for a guitar where the neck is the only thing. the rest of the guitar is a toy guitar in construction and performance... not a special instrument for me to express my many failure as an artist but ample excuses for bad playing from a non-standard instrument. My guitars electronics failed during a gig the night before a very important wedding gig and it destroyed my confidence in my playing and the guitar. I must be a purist as nylon strings are made for finger picking....a plectrum on nylon strings disturbes me. sorry I can't support your demo or review... godin is over rated in my opinion lacking in every aspect for some one expecting a "grand Concert " guitar... It's a disappointment..
If Steve Stevens says it’s cool, it’s cool. ❤
Even in a guitar demo Steve Stevens is so incredible to listen to.
Very talented man. Wish I could play like that.
Amazing playing!
If anyone can play that properly it's you Steve. Awesome sound, and I love your studio too, it looks fantastic👍

Are you pleased with midi tracking capability?
@@BonafideToolJunkie Yep.

Great guitars.
You’ve recorded that perfectly and played it beautifully
Maestro
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great licks Steve, I'm going to be stealing them. Hope you don't mind.
❤
Awesome studio…I see Axe Fractal processor there….
At $2700 that’s a very good price for that guitar considering built in options.

Wow...
😮💖
I have a multiac.. supposed to have nylons but changed them to acoustic strings
All strings are acoustic. Do you mean steel strings?
@@kengregory1541All strings are not acoustic. Steel, or nickel strings are used for electric guitars, bronze strings are used for acoustic guitars.
Dude can play...
Does anybody knows which is the amplifier for that? it is so important

Love your Godin's Tone - what siting brand/what tension are you using please??
Awesome !!!
I hope Santa bought you a wireless mic!
The guitar is fantastic , a great sound .... but we can't ear your voice :-(
Can I connect that Godin model to the Roland gr 55? I understand that it does not have the 13-pin connection. could you clarify that for me?
Beautiful guitar Steve, do they make it in a lefty and how much ?
They make them lefty.
Among Godin guitar models, multiac acs sa - What is the abbreviation and what does multiac mean?
Synth
Hi, My name is Derek, I have a question, is possible to adjust the saddle height a Godin Grand Concert Deluxe guitar.

what kind of console is that and is it connected to your daw?
All of that expensive sound gear and he can't find a mic that will actually pick up the sound of his voice? Curiouser and curiouser. 🤣
