    Better to see this.. than lose 1-7 in the final of a World Cup.. silence and respect for Italy.. Produce these videos but forget a lot about Brazil.. He stole a football World Cup in 2002 without deserving it.. where moreover Moreno refereed Korea vs Italy in an obscene way. You enjoy seeing Italy suffer, but you will regret all these moments one after the other. Forza Italia! I dont like this video

    Too many foreign players, youth is sent abroad and forgotten about. Result of foreign ownership of clubs. The talent pool is slim.

    Simply put I just think Italys national team is not good enough to consistently make deep runs in tournaments. If you compare the current generation of Italian to those of the early to mid 00s or 90s there is likely two or maybe three players that make the squad.
    Now every national team goes through a slump and great players don’t necessarily guarantee titles as a lot of luck is involved, but the most concerning thing about Italy is the lack of truly elite young players coming through. Their methodology of coaching at the youth levels is simply outdated and those who have quality barely get any playtime at the senior level. Italy don’t have wonder kids of the equivalent of Jamal Musiala, Pedri, Yamal, Bellingham, Wirtz, Warren Zaire Emery, Endrick, Claudio Echeverri or Jorrel Hato.
    It is not as if talented Italian footballers have vanished of the face of the earth it just means the structure and ideology is so far behind that they underperform in terms of producing players given their passion and population size. Because Italy has a high floor they will remain somewhat competitive at tournaments, but until they sort out their domestic issues they will continuously underperform relative to their ceiling.
    Just look at what’s possible with smaller size nations like Portugal and Belgium producing more talented young players and at present arguably have just if not more formidable squads. The difference is that they have a structure and Italy does not.

      @roccociccone597 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      the youth sector is great though. We keep doing very well there. The real issue is the fact we don't value our young players and let them sit on the bench... That's why they never fully develop

    10:05 Let's not forget the disgraceful insults Marco Materazzi gave to Zinédine Zidane, offending his sister, who was taking care of their sick mother that day. This moment of madness could not have existed without these disgraceful words. Italy's World Cup victory was also made easier with this injustice.

      @@graccusbro2061 Did you realise what state Zidane was in when the incident happened ? He was playing extra time in a World Cup Final, after having had chances to score the winner. That same day, his mother is badly ill, taken care of by his sister, something Zinédine is aware of. He must be very tired after 110 minutes of play, and Marco Materazzi has constantly been pulling his shirt. After Zidane told him "I will give you my shirt after the match", given how much Materazzi pulled it, Materazzi rudely replied "I would prefer your ** sister".
      Given the state Zidane, his mother and his sister were in, do you think the infuriated Zidane could easily take such an insult ?

    How they won Euro 2020 will always be a mystery to me. You can't win whole tournaments just by being lucky, but I guess they figured out a way that time.

    • @vitodoria7894
      @vitodoria7894 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      They played great football in the qualifiers and the tournament itself. I had never seen an Italy team so comfortable on the ball and willing to score. Losing Spinazzola made a difference and you could see that his pace was missing vs Spain and England. Mancini also fell into the trap of being too loyal to the players that brought him success like Bearzot and Lippi did. Bonucci and Chiellini should have made that final their swansong and Jorginho declined after that tournament.
