5:40 - 8:46 *Clarkson drives a car*, says it's amaizing and nothing else, casually proceeds to make grown men cry with the most sublime poetry, and the Top Gear cinematogrphy is just OOF!! This is not a car review, this is cinema!
Music by brian eno, nonetheless. One of my favorite pieces of all time, too. Brian Eno - An Ending (Ascent) for those interested. Jeremy also mentioned it when he said '' I just have this horrible, dreadful feeling that what I'm driving here.. is an ending '' (or by mistake said it and the audio team got the idea to put the song cause someone remembered the piece because of what Jeremy said) PS: I bought my first aston martin vantage 2020 2 days ago. needed this random video popup... thi's a good sign.
Add another one to the list of middle-aged car enthusiasts having emotional breakdowns over the last of the big, gas-guzzling supercars only to have the same company continue to make virtually identical big, gas-guzzling supercars for a further 15 years (so far).
@@joeblacc8573 You’re right. I’m just now filming an emotional goodbye to our sun. It won’t run out of hydrogen for around 5 billion years, but I am just so upset.
@@FullmetalSP1I understand your point, but I think you did miss their point. New cars are nothing like the older generations. For the same reason people buy a 65 Mustang, a late 2000s Aston is a completely different experience then a brand new unit. Souce: Trust me bro.

That Aston Martin V12 Vantage package made me believe we'd seen the last ever Top Gear episode with its melancholy ending.
4:29 is one of the most wild quotes I've ever heard

He may have been early, but he’s still accurate.
