I love how I went from being one of the few Ogryn aggro shout mains in auric circles online with slab shield now havoc turns it into a mandatory build.
As an Ogryn Main, I was afraid to run him thinking he would get melted by gunners in havoc, but its honestly been so fun feeling like an actual tank. Just gotta stay in the front and guide your team to those funnel points. Also have you tried heavy hitter or just feel no pain?
Great gameplay man, love me Ogryn. Do you think Ogryn can work with other builds taking bull rush or using kickback, or nade launcher with pickaxe on Havoc 40?
Nice man I tired feel no pain at 40 too but I hated doing less damage since I’m stubborn so I just said screw it and just did bleed dr and charging heavy dr haha but it does keep me on my toes! Gotta block every other combo just in case a single mob decides to shoot me
@@FatherAntithetical yup I get all of those, it's havoc penalties. If u notice I'm not taking any ammo as well because each tin gives a lot less, and the vet requires them all
@@FatherAntithetical my curio setup for ogryn is quite unique. I run one max health, one max toughness and one +3 stamina. All 3 have CDR, stam regen and sprint efficiency perks on. Anything and everything to make ogryn get around a little better which imo is his biggest weak point.
aww man didn't mean to mislead you. Havoc 40 has penalties on ammo pickups so i couldn't use it much more. The reason why the video is titled so is because some people were saying the new stubbers were not good so I wanted to show that its havoc40 viable
You also dont necessarily need to wield the stubber 24/7 to showcase how good it is, if anything this video does a good job about it showing the stubber as a good special killer for ogryns
Ogryn struggles to compare in damage to the other classes already in regular damnation, so the stagger in havoc is much more useful to let everyone else breath and maibly keep the damn pus puddles away in most of havoc's ranks

Why the mic sound so messed up? :( Also should have been more aggressive, being first into rooms to taunt shooters would have helped i think.
I agree with this take a lot. If I can dive and make most shooters go into melee and pay attention to me, then I feel the most impactful.
thats what i was doing, couple slides / side-dodges into the pack and taunt

heavy hitter works too but u have less room for error

probably but it's harder because shooters are so punishing

I was planning to go the heavy hitter route for maelstrom and keep the feel no pain for havoc is that viable?
How do you only have 100 toughness? I can't even get to Feel No Pain without picking up 25 at the top, and two 15's along the way.
It's Havoc modifiers that decrease Toughness

Most of the video is using the shield and mace. Why are people like this? Why even bother at that point?

Lmao the shield is basically required for an ogryn in havoc since every gunner can strip your toughness in a second.
