Ive been playing bubble psyker but i really hate not playing venting shriek. Im going to make the adjustments you suggest and try to climb even though ive had a terrible time climbing with randoms. Im stuck at like 21 rn cuz I keep losing but I made it to 24. You always inspire me to get better with purg and it will always be my favorite build. Idk about playing empyric resolve but I can give it a try lol
Practice makes perfect. Empyric Resolve is a very greedy pick that mostly comes down to whether you can get away with it without dying. There is plenty of yellow toughness going around in the Havoc meta though, which covers the toughness penalty fairly well. So as long as you're killing enough elites/specials to let them spam VoC/Relic often enough you should be fine. If your teammates struggle without booble then the runs can be pretty rough. If there is already a Brittleness Trauma Booble on the team, then imo Purgatus Shriek adds far more value than a second booble. So if your Psyker teammates ask for loadout suggestions, I'd get them to run Rending Shockwave Trauma with Perilous Combustion + Smite + Booble + Warp Changes + In Fire Reborn (which you will feed), and absolutely not Wildfire or they will gut your dmg.
@ I have a trauma setup with bubble and a purgatus setup with bubble and im using empyric resolve juat to squeeze more out of purgatus and it helps alot. My only struggle right now with havoc is horrible teammates who arent using proper builds for the difficulty but at the end of the day its supposed to be hard. Im at 22 right now and you do get the occasional players coming down from high havoc to play. IM hosting my own lobbies and im just trying to pick havoc levels close to mine.
It was very frustrating to miss so much of the final event. It was actually the first time I'd run into disconnect issues in Havoc, and of course it was for the final event of Rank 40.
