Nice video Shaun. What a great setup Chuckie Egg has. A man-cave with superb attention to detail. Love the neon……

That looks absolutely fantatsic. Would love to have a "proper arcade cabinet" however I do have several Arcade 1Up and an Atgames Legends Ultimate. Super happy with my home arcade.

You can't beat the real thing imo, but those 1Up type things have their place. You can also mod them, upgrade the sticks etc

@@ShaunsArcade Completely agree, thanks to the 10p Podcast I'm trying out loads of games on my Atgames Legends that I had never heard of. It would be nice one day to own an actual proper arcade cabinet.

This is what I aspire too. I have the consoles, but no cabs. Need a bigger house then this is what I'm aiming for! Great video and amazing setup.

Really liked the marquee setup in Alex's. Great showcase of games, shows you what you can do whatever space you have.

The core element of classic arcade cabinet was TV cathode ray tube . All the rest was built around the screen. Now we have TV screens up to 80". IMHO such screens need different approach if one want to build DIY arcade gaming system. I thnk in this direction. Here is mo working prototype : th-cam.com/video/o3Gv_fSsfes/w-d-xo.html

Great Video, but emulation is not ok, go real or go home! :)

It's fine for casual gaming imo, especially a MAME setup with a jpac inside a real cab with a CRT.
