As a regular, it actually does get pretty busy earlier rather than later. It’s mostly just because of the kids and all that. 6pm onward they all have to leave and it’s a bit more emptier than it would’ve been. Busiest day is honestly probably like Saturday or something and busiest floor maybe 1st floor? (The 1st upper floor, not to be mixed with ground)
When you next go, tell them to Get 'Primal Rage' a Great addition to any arcade. It was almost on the street fighter/Mortal Kombat level of fighters, but with Dinosaurs (which makes it Very unique), kids would love that one. a 90's Classic!
This place is better than any arcade in the 90's because it combines 80s, 90's 00's, which makes it perfect, also with the addition of an 'internet cafe' and bars.... Better than any nightclub!
I am also suprised there isnt a 2p machine?? or atleast 1 oldskool gambler for the business to make extra cash? .. I dont like modern arcades that are full of ticket machine n gamblers, but in this situation it would be ideal to have about 5 oldskool gamblers, i think they would get used quite alot in this setting. Also a Grab machine or 2 that actually work.
I went here around the time we had the lockdowns and left early because it was too busy, literally nothing to play on and queues for stuff like pinball machines. I'd like to go back but we have the Blackpool one now so I go there instead.
It can be busy at certain times of day and certain times of the year. I've found it's a bit quieter in the summer months, when everyone's out barbecue-ing and in pub gardens.
@@ShaunsArcade I tried going down in January thinking it would be the quietest time to go, but it ended up being busier than when I went during the summer months.

I agree. 👍

It is a good fighter. I remember playing it with my son when he was younger

You need a gambling licence for anything like that and I don't think AC want to go down that road.

@@Mitjitsu summer months are normally quieter, especially if there's good weather and people want to be outside
@@ShaunsArcade Admittedly I was planning on going down earlier in the summer, but was put off by the riots.
