    • @foxbat473
      @foxbat473 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      kalanga are shona people, when the Ndebele settled in Matland some Kalanga people moved northwards and settled in Zvimba, Sanyathi also Masvingo. They came back fighting along with the Anglo army in the Anglo Ndebele war, to claim their land. Kalanga built the Mapungubwe then moved to Great Zimbabwe and Khami. Mutota left Great Zimbabwe to settle in Dande and established the Mutapa State. The Shona language you here in modern Zimbabwe is actually Chikaranga, tjiKalanga which was corrupted by the zezuru shona dialect, notably substituting the L with R.

      @@foxbat473Portuguese documentary records, Shona oral traditions, the research of Professor Beach and writings by Timothy Huffman of the University of Witwatersrand tell us that the ancestors of the people called Shona today arrived in the Zimbabwean Tableland around the 1700s, at least 1500 years later than the Kalanga peoples. Remember that the Mapungubwe is was built by the Kalanga. This dates back to AD1200 roughly. So if the Kalanga came that far back then infact ALL Shona languages or versions are Kalanga dialects including what we call Chikaranga which is still different from Tjikalanga. It is true that some Kalanga fled the arrival of the Matebele and some did join the whites to route out the oppressor (The Nguni Matebele). So the Shona are as different from the Kalanga as the Ndebele are from the Kalangas. Most Kalanga speak fluent isiNdebele the same way most black people adopted English the erstwhile oppressors language but they remain different. They are brothers in terms of living in proximity but they can be identified historically and by means of culture as Being different.

      "Kalanga just sound like Karanga spoken by a child" so says this fraudulent Kalanga. No self-respecting Kalanga person would say such drivel. This fraudster then insinuates that because of Ndebele domination the Kalanga language has been appropriated to be Nguni. Oh please, go try your masquerading on other issues. Nowhere amongst the Kalanga or Ndebele will you ever hear such warped talk. Strange how those who just a few years back were rampaging throughout Matabeleland killing, torturing and raping all perceived ZAPU/Joshua Nkomo supporters be they Ndebele, Kalanga, Xhosa or Sotho and have stifled development in this province, now come in disguise to play the divide and rule game. BaKalanga are not stupid, they know who these corrupt, incompetent, tribalistic "chinhu chedus" ("our thing") are who have imposed themselves over Matabeleland since 1980 and appropriated almost all job opportunities especially those under central government control for their children thereby driving the majority of local youths including Kalangas across the borders to Botswana and South Africa. Now BaKalanga are expected to accept this drivel from this fraudster that they are junior Karangas and their current modern-day enemies are the Ndebele. You better be kidding!
