I appreciate your video; it helped me in my installation. I opted to install the LAplus line because of the ability to align once installed; not every housing is 100% machined exactly the same, right? I had some issues with collars and aligning, but finally got them installed. I think my passenger side is a bit high, so I’ll need to adjust it down. I aligned the LEDs to the 3 and 9 position and decided to put the pigtail down making the cutout face up, reflecting the light up. I will say that in this configuration, the pattern does NOT look good at all. I’m going to ensure the bulbs are seated correctly and rotate them 180 degrees to see if it helps. I’ll let you know, but I’m beginning to think your orientation is correct.
FYI, 2021 XLT Supercrew. So, I rotated the lamps 180 degrees so that the notch faces down and did not see any improvement in the beam pattern, looked pretty much the same. I put them back w/ the notch facing up at 12 o’clock and pigtail going down at 6 o’clock. What I did find out was that my passenger low beam led bulb was not fully seated. Once I pushed it all the way in and re-aligned and re-aimed, the beam actually looks fantastic. Extremely happy.
No problem! No man these are a amazing. The turn signal especially is probably the most over engineered LED I have ever seen lol…in a good way. Great bulbs, all of them work perfect.
How’s you get the bulb like that? I just installed mine a couple hours ago but mine don’t sit like yours, the lights didn’t want to sit I had to slide them in and do a full turn for them to tight and sit
@@AutoHeadz the low beam, when we put it in the slot instead of if locking into place if did a full turn and then locked, just went go turn on my lights and can see I must’ve done something wrong, I don’t know why they kept on turning
Ok I got you, check it out. So the bulb is designed like that. Once you install the bulb you can only turn it so much until it’s full locked in. For example in the video at around 4:47 seconds I am rotating the bulb in the housing clockwise until it locks in. Then if you need to adjust turn counterclockwise to your desired location and stop. To remove the bulb you have to keep turning counterclockwise until it catches again. I hope that helps. If that’s not the issue your bulb may not be properly seated inside the housing. Let me know man.
Can you do a timed test on the turn signal bulbs? LASFIT says the duty cycle is 5 minutes runtime before hyper flashing can occur. My concern is being in the dark having to change a tire that could take some time. Test should be you running the 4 way flashers for 5, 10, 15 minutes to see how long before they mess up, if they mess up?
Are there any LED upgrades for the ‘21-‘22 F-150 taillight and rear turn signals? I see there’s a whole kit on the Lasfit site for the F-150 but don’t see any taillight upgrades?

Great video. Question I have is where did you see the thicker portion of the bulb should be on top and the narrower portion facing down? I was told by the seller that the correct direction is thicker portion of the bulb section on the bottom, with the wire on the bottom. Not saying you're wrong, I just don't see it in the instructions either.
@@AutoHeadz I just found this video by Lasfit. It's them installing an LS plus, not the same bulb, but the design is pretty close.th-cam.com/video/UIXe0pX_Wxc/w-d-xo.html. Go to 40sec of the video and it shows the angle pushing the light up. It kind of makes sense that they want the light to reflect down from the top of the reflector as oppose to up and possibly messing with oncoming traffic. But they don't reference it, only the chips need to be at 3/9, so who knows?
@@AutoHeadz I just received this from Lasfit: " Make sure the yellow led chip is facing 3 and 9 position - The pigtail at the back is at the 6 o clock position or dropping down position"
Nice video but my 2021 F150 headlight assys and fog lights are nothing like these. There are no wells and only the plugs come off the back of the housings. The bulbs don't look like they can come out of the back at all. My tail light assys are also weird. Has one small led back up light in each unit that can not be replaced.
I know this was a year ago. But actually, that orientation is off. That’s upside down. It has to rotate the other for ur best beam pattern. I tried that and it was off.
I just bought a 2022 F-150 XLT, unfortunately it came with the ugly ass halogen headlights since I did not upgrade to the 302A package but that was thousands more $$$, this would definitely give it a much sharper look.
Yeah man they hit you hard with that 302A package. I’m excited to see what the aftermarket comes up with in the future. I’m sure company’s like ANZO are already working on stuff.
I respectfully disagree but I recommend you give it a try for yourself and see what you think. On a full size pickup truck I think you will find if you flip it 180 degrees the beam will be too high and blind on coming traffic in that orientation. Let me know your results. Take care man and thanks for the heads up.

What’s the part number for the turn signal bulb? I am struggling to find a bulb that will fit. Thanks.

Hmmm interesting. I don’t think that is correct. The other direction would have the beam facing too high IMO. I’ll look into that and get back to you.
