      I'm in the same situation bro. I'm working as a health care assistant in the NHS. I tell you what apply for a health care assistant in the NHS, you will find lots of educated people doing the same job, now try develop good working relations with the staff. You can apply for Csw, they take bloods in the ward then take them to the lab. I got to know a manager in the laboratory. I'm sure that he will guide me in my next application. when ever you see a job advertisement on the NHS website call them and ask for a tour. Then in the application write that the tour you had gave you an insight of the grades of staff who work ther and about the machinary you got to see. I'm a mature student Pakistani origin, trust me you have more chance then I do. It's sometimes not what you know but who you know. Hope this helps

    • @DoctorKenji
      @DoctorKenji  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your question! Both paths have great potential, but it depends on your interests. If you’re passionate about DNA, inheritance, and the molecular aspects of diseases, a Master’s in Genetics and Genomics might be the way to go. If you’re interested in a broader range of biomedical topics, including research and application in healthcare, a Master’s in Biomedical Science could be a better fit. Consider what excites you most and where you see your career heading!

      if you rlly can’t make a decision between the two, many medical degrees give you the option to intercalate, so you could graduate with a biomed degree and an mbbs
      obviously it’ll be much more expensive than studying only a biomed degree, but doing graduate entry medicine after a biomed degree is also very expensive and competitive - but completely possible if that’s the route you want to take :)

      I graduated I BMS a couple of years ago and loved it. I did MSc in podiatry and love the job. My advice is think about work life balance and what you want your life to look like. I have friends who are doctors and are stressed af. 🙃 you can always change your mind down the line and top up years if the goal is medicine. Good luck x
