Makes a lot of sense when you break it down. I primarily use dumbbells but try to work the barbell in once a month or so.

Have you ever tried doing the db chest press on a stability ball straight after barbell bench!? It’s a fantastic hypertrophy superset!

Just started watching the vid, but I go for dumbell fly, because I want to get stronger on the balancing/stabilizing muscles for stronger punching power and also I don't want a chect that pops out too much but rather that is wide high and very defined.
Maybe the vid will change my mind, lets see. :)

....ohh and I don't do any chest press, incline and decline flies, presses just grow my chests too big.
I really don't get the guys pressing for an hour in the gym, makes me think how geneics is all over the places with ppl, just amazes me.

....and yes, I wish I had my chest genetics spread between my rear delts and biceps,
my rear delts tale a beating and grow slowly and who doesnt want more biceps. :))
If a lion is know for its mane,
a man is known for his rear delts. :))))

That may be the first time I’ve heard anyone say that! Have you tried chest dips? They are great for working that outer chest area. Cable crossovers is another good one. Both of these other really great stretch across the pecs. Anything incline will help to emphasize the upper portion of the pecs 💪

Genetics can determine where muscles attach to bones, which could impact the shape and fullness of the pecs. Remember though, consistent training and nutrition can still lead to significant chest development! 💪🧬
