    could you do more practical videos like this because as you know due to the current situations practical work cannot be undertaken. Great video

    thank you this is very helpful! honestly seeing it written is just as helpful as seeing it done as a practical in person

    In the last question, I said you don't need to use comparative words like "faster", but you in fact do, I just messed up my words!

    Thank you very much for this video. It is very useful. Could you please make videos on practical 3,4,7,8 and 9? Thank you :)

    Is the control done only once?
    Also, for doing 3 tried per experiment, is it ok to do 3 at the same temperature together? As in, warm them in the same water bath and time them together.

    At 17:42, How do you know its the substrate that has been used and not actual enzyme/active site?

      Hi! Enzymes don't get used up as they are catalysts, meaning that they're unchanged during a reaction. Substrates on the other hand are converted into a product, so they are used up. :)

    can you not say that all the enzymes active sites have been saturated instead of all substrates are used up how would i know which to use??????

    • @tenfootman7600
      @tenfootman7600 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      do i just assume its the substrate

    • @AlevelBiologyHelp
      @AlevelBiologyHelp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you have to say that all substrates are used up because the dependent variable here is the concentration of product which relates to the substrate more as substrates are converted to the product in enzyme reactions.
