Pure gold! And the real bonus for we old timers is the list of riders and numbers. My only claim to fame was once beating Ivan Miller to the start in a club race in Paraparam, crashing one corner later and being run over by him.

Vic Rieter was from Napier, not Hamilton. He came from money and raced 125, 250 and 400 and was an exceptional talent. He could hop on the 250 after he just won the 125 race and flog everyone in the 250 race. He was a machine, we were in awe of him and is mate Costello. Didn't do to well on this day though.

If it's similar in power to the 1978 YZ 250 I had, it'll be no problem at all .🙂

Im from Dunedin, and have heard of Gary Goodfellow , but I really know nothing about him , and have never been able to find any information on him, I'd be interested. Also , in the late seventies and eighties, I went to Christie's gully near Dunedin, to see the Ian Brown memorial motocross , who was Ian Brown ?.🙂
