Have You Met (Brazilian) Miss Jones? - Jazz Standard Turned Samba

After our recent gig, we got back to the studio for another rehearsal and started hashing a tune that we had been working on before the gig but didn't get a chance to really flesh out the arrangement.
We somehow, almost accidentally ended up playing the standard "Have You Met Miss Jones" but as a samba, and really ended up liking it. So we doubled down on the samba vibe and worked through some arrangement ideas to make it more samba.
We're probably not done tweaking it, but thought we would share.
What do you think, does this song work as a samba?
