hi wayne i finish this build back in august 2020 when it was done by hachette partworks. i didn't have to worry about the wires as my cat ate them so made my mind up not to use them lol. mind you every other model i've made i've never turned on the lights. I'm sorry to say that i have cheated on you with another youtuber as this chanel is 29 issues infront of us for the knight rider build so i couldn't help myself and had to see what is comming in this build. no need to worry wayne as i'll still be watching you as their channel has no talking and is in germany
I have this bus in Lego. I'm modifying it to be a new age travellers bus. Don't worry if the windows don't open easily, they don't often work properly on the real bus so it's a bit of extra realism.
Will the oil that you put on the opening window cause any damage to the plastic? OBTW the "flashing" is more sprue tree as flashing is where the plastic has leaked through gaps in the tooling, usually when it has become a bit worn out!
just a concern, the use of 3 in1 mineral oil in proximity to plastic / acrylic. it can lead to the degradation of plastics, cracking fogging and crazing. ( ask any-one who's owned a split chassis Bachmann Model locomotive..... )
Hi Wayne. I have a half built Routemaster and can no longer continue the build as Hachette has discontinued production of the partworks. Any ideas what I can do?
That's starting to really come a long that! might be worth doing some research about the door, with that screw. Or it could be a case of adjusting the models frame.
You wouldn't. In service the bus would be crewed by a driver and a conductor. The conductor would walk up and down the bus collecting fares and issuing tickets. The conductor was also responsible for safety on board, signalling to the driver when it was safe to pull away etc.
Hi Wayne I am new to the model building hobby, I find following the route master build videos so helpful, thank you for posting, the main thing I find very confusing is the wiring on the bus…. Is this the norm with this level of modelling, or is the route master just complicated? All this attaching and then re-attaching wires has got me confused! Any advice to simplify the wiring would be really appreciated. Keep up the good work. Gary.
im almost done with my pack 9 but i got a panic moment now cause i think i chucked a window away thats for my upper front part.. i think im going garbage hunting

I LOVE this build. Plenty of bang for the buck. not a single "pull out the part and just look at it" stage.
Just started building the bus
Just waiting for pack 2
I love the build so far

Nah . It will be fine

I used it on my Delorean which is now 5 years old and seems okay atm

The only peeps who have it now are Agora. I don't know if they can help.

Just a weird question. Where would you tap your Oyster card on this bus?
They have a yellow pad on the new buses by the driver

Imagine how much bigger it would be if it was the night bus from Harry Potter that you were building.
Funny I was wondering if some one would do a rebranded one as a night bus...
@@bradleymarks you'd have to add a 3d level to the bus.
While I have enjoyed watching the build, I am not planning to get it. I would get the Night Bus for sure!
When I built my bus the drivers door was very stiff and hard to open, the next stages are going to be using some very tiny screws.

The wiring can always be a challenge in these builds this has more then most
