Group Accounting (a BRIEF overview)

hello folks!!
in this video i talk about accounting for group structures, consolidation and pro-forma journal entries. groups are super fun and awesome and cool, and once you nail down these basic principles you'll be so fine. also have a read through ifrs 10, it's so good. 💋

Hi Maddy ! Awesome video , I’m currently studying my CTA and I came accounting your channel . This video helps a lot . Can I just make a recommendation for maybe a next video where you go into explaining the journals with the differences with let’s say the fair value of an asset compared to its carrying amount at acquisition date and the journals of it if the subsidiary was acquired in a prior period so the pro forma journals during the since period and also if that particular asset was sold during the current year or in a prior year . Those kind of questions I get a bit confused with . Thank you tho 🤗
