And here I just took delivery of my R5 Mk II the other day! I'm an avid hobbyist as far as photography goes, but I'm a professional musician. Way back in the '80s, I got myself badly in debt by constantly chasing the newest technology. I learned a very expensive, but very important lesson: There's no such thing as "obsolete" gear as long as it does what you need it to do. Consider: I bought a synthesizer new in 1992, and that keyboard was my main piece of gear for 28 years until it finally gave up the ghost in 2020. Likewise, I still get good results with the 300D I bought new in 2003, along with the 18-55 kit lens that came with it.
These days, I don't think there's any any camera that's a bad one. Just make sure that what you have does what you need it to do.
Your sentence "These days, I don't think there's any camera that's a bad one." is spot on.
Can already has five full frame cameras: R8, R6 Mk2, R5 Mk2, R3, and R1. Adding a sixth camera does not make much sense IMO. Lastly, a 40 MP sensor cannot do 8K60 in DCI format. Your description of the R4 is basically the R5 Mk2.
When R4 1/2 come out?
No chance, 4 is a bad luck number for the Japanese...
Come on Canon how many full frame cameras do we need , come up with a new crop frame camera .
What Canon needs is A micro 4/3 camera .
Canon don't use the no4?
I'll believe it when Canon releases the Press Announcement.
Super
Video seems old. It says anticipated R5 mark 2. wtf
....because the 87 Full Frame options we already have are not enough. Stupid. Bring out a straight up Pro level APS-C. As it is, we have the R7. And if its too much of a PITA to deal with, you can always go with an R7 :(
They are in the market to release same stuff in a new body but add a feature or 2. Lol 🤣
@@MeAndMyOpinions_OverYours it sucks, but your totally right :(
Again yet another video based camera. I can see why cos none of the others have this capability😂.Another vote for a well built aps-c body. A true 7D mk2 equivalent because the R7 isn't it. Good but no cigar comes to mind.
Okay!! Wouldn't it be better than the R5? You mean between R3 and R5!! Someone didn't graduate kindergarten!
Its the R6m3😂
Why would they say, in mid-December of 2024 that the R4 might be released in 2024? Has anyone heard of this model previously?
I would love to see an APS-H size sensor like the 1D MKIV, 30mp plus speed
Why? You already have the 45 MP R5 Mk2 at 30 fps.
Just came from another video about the r4 and it's literally the same script verbatim, th-cam.com/video/_900x7PdlFk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dMDj3o9EPJH6n3rB
Fake News?
I see only number 😂😂😂
