    Wow, what a collection! That loader is pretty neat, I've never seen one before. I hope some of those Cockshutts are coming my way in a few days. Thanks for sharing.

      They had some at Almelund, for the Oliver feature. Pretty long haul to Albany, but maybe 🤔

    Really cool stuff. I've never seen a fwa Oliver like those. Or a crazy loader like that.

      Most preferred the mechanical FWD, the hydraulic ones are unusual. They have one heck of a collection!

    Nice lineup!! Love the story behind the 1555!! That hydraulic front end would be pretty handy for delicate work.. creep slow.

    An amazing collection! Thanks for showing it to us! I've never seen a strait line loader in person, this was great to see! We have a 66 Ind with the vari-drive like the one you showed, but it is all apart. I'd like to know more about how that works.

      First time I saw a vari-drive. They (Follies) have an open house every summer, I’m sure I can extend an invite if you guys are interested. They are in western Wisconsin.

    Very impressive collection of the Oliver and the Cockshuts including the MM, the 1655 modified is really cool, there's a gur I know that he went to a tractor pull someplace and he told me that it was a Allis Chalmers modified with 2 WW2 fighter jet engines, he said it was loud and fast 🚜🇺🇸

    Great collection! I have only read about the straight line loaders, never seen one other than the advertising pamphlets. Are you coming up to Dalton this year? My brother and I will be up there again for the show and bringing the Moline to pull. Otherwise we are hoping, not certain yet, to make it to Albany.

      Is Dalton the 9th? If so I can’t this time, but plan on Rollag and Albany. If you make Albany text me, we will have a TH-camr lunch! I have been meeting up with Pinesedge farm there, he does videos as well.
      And yeah they have quite a nice collections of Ollie’s!

      Guessing you know these guys? From the magazine days.
      Any idea how many of those levy FWD were made?

      @@crazydave4455 I think I know who it is. I don't suppose they have a flex back plow in that collection?
      I don't know any precise numbers on the Levy equipped tractors. The records that I have had the Levy units lumped in with the 2wd row crops. Overall I would say they are more rare than the mechanical FWA models. Many were converted to conventional 2wd front axles when the Levy axle failed. The tractors have a special transmission code because they have longer shaft rails with switches on them to lock out the front axle in road gear and reverse, so there is a way to figure out if a tractor was factory equipped with a Levy just by the serial tag.

      @crazydave4455  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ThatOliverGuyChris don’t know about the plow and some of the high crops and other FWDs were a friends. It’s Folies (western Wisconsin) I think that 1950 HFWD was from Dumont’s collection.
      Thanks for the info.

    • @ThatOliverGuyChris
      @ThatOliverGuyChris 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@crazydave4455 that was my guess as to who it was. There was a flex back Oliver plow sold on auction in Nebraska around 2 years ago. Mike Kalsem chased it hard in the bidding, but didn't get it. The auction site said the winning bidder was from Wisconsin. We've wondered who ended up with it.

    Is the 1955 and 2050 hydraulic front wheel drive or mechanical I didn’t see any hoses

    • @crazydave4455
      @crazydave4455  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Mechanical, most of them were. Front axles I think were made by Clark. The hydraulic was kind of an odd ball, I don’t know the numbers but I haven’t saw many.
