@@carlosmoniz9570 yes I understand they come for worms, there is no water near the fields we are plowing. How do they know we are turning the soil and show up for a free lunch ? 😂
My theory is that the crows are the scouting birds and they tell the robins freshly plowed ground and they tell them. I have made one pass and by the time I get turned there are a dozen birds and by the third pass I had to duck down from all the swallows swooping by my head😊
@@jeffharper7579 I have gulls landing before I go a half mile, I never see crows though. I normally plow in the fall after the robins fly south for the winter.
Sorry but don't you guys know how to set draft so tractors pull straight? Always makes me wonder how old tractors can pull a bottom with 10-12 hp and new ones spend 30 or more!
It not draft controls that need to be set pull type plows are harder to set a person needs to know how set it then it pulls straight it easier. Mounted and semi mount work better but need to be set up right also. Your tail wheel on the plow and front tires tell a lot ot how a plow is set.
That is some beautiful dirt, looks mellow.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@billgarnerrmt was the big 4x4 jd pulling a 13 or 14 bottom plow ?
@@Denniscraigalston I counted 14.
Hello is really cool too see this nice and classic machine again
Great video! Love the diversity of coverage.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Seeing all those gulls brought back memories of plowing as a kid.
My favorites were the big Ford, the 2-banger JD's and the Oliver with the 2-cycle. You could hear it running over everything else!

Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching.
How is it that the gulls appear as soon as you turn the soil? They just appear out of a clear blue sky.
I have the same question but no answer. Thanks for watching.
