Good install video. I am about to install some light bars on my Armada.
A word of advice from a former car stereo installer. I would advise against running the wire through the door frame through the fender as it is a potential fire hazard. The proper way to the engine bay is through the firewall. There are several options to run the wire along side another wire harness going into the engine bay.

Thanks for taking the time to show this. Very helpful. Debating on doing this to my Titan Pro4X. I live out in the country and it would help.
However, I think I would drill a hole in the center of the base of the bracket (between the two mounting holes) and then match that hole to another drilled hole in the drip rail to leave a cleaner look. Then secure the cable harness along the bracket as it feeds down into its own hole. Additionally, if I ever decided to plug those holes, they would be more consolidated in the same area and more "out of sight" so to day. This is just my approach is all.
    Looks good, take care. 👍🏼

I would advise against drilling into the roof gutter as shown here. This gutter is where the roof panel asm. is welded with adhesives to the Inner Roof Rail Reinforcement and Body Side Outer. Drilling in this location could cause you to eliminate a resistant spot weld causing degradation to the structural integrity. It could cause major water issues leading to corrosion issues as well. It is more complex than the average person could understand. It would be adviseable to utilize the Class A surface of the Roof Panel Asm. to attached the light bar to, or the Body Side Outer upper A pillar section. Definitely avoid the gutter area. Hope this helps gives some engineering insight!

Great tutorial, thanks for sharing! Would be cool to do some upgrades to my '00 Nissan Frontier, if the budget ever allows.

Yeah, budget is always a barrier for me too. Thanks for watching.

Great video and all, but drilling holes in the body to install an auxiliary part? I can't image this Auxbeam would "up" the resale value of my truck, but I guess it would be worth it if I planned on keeping it for its useful lifetime and needed something this specific and used it often enough.

Hi man. Where do I get the brackets? Amazon link no longer works. Appreciate the advice

i like the first part of mounting the brackets. but why go inside the engine bay to get the power ? its not a 50AMP draw, you can add a new fuse inside the cab, probably directly on the fuse box and be done. no wires in view, all tucked up in the A pillar. if you really want to get to the battery, its not a 00 gauge wire... so you can go thru the fusebox grommet without issues and it makes a clean job.

Thanks for the advise. This may be something I look into.

it would fry the fuse thats why it needs a relay in line rather than just a fuse its not just the draw but the fact turning it on an off will melt the wire i thought the same thing hooked it up like you are saying then drove it to work an it lit up like a candle had to rip it out while driving and on fire so i hope people do not listen to you with no experiance just my 2 cents but would of cost someone a whole car if i did not rip it out while it was lit many folks would of let it burn but it being my only car i am not letting it happen thanks
