Do you know how to make triggers work in the platformer? how do things keep moving infinitely, or how do colors keep changing seamlessly with the song? i've been hitting my head through the wall trying to figure that out! good video tho!
tileset mechanic is a result of how the game is coded. besides maybe making the number a bit more intuitive (uk, lower means its behind more objects), there's not much that can be done besides revamping entire sections of code, so its just smt u gotta deal with
@@Skyymon Ohh thats good to know, although i think that with some tweaks in the coding, the previous layering could be re-implemented fairly straight-forward. Hopefully in a future update.

I think you have the base and details thing backwards... In 2.1 base was always the full color (The fill so to say) and detail the outline or similar... In 2.2 it seems to be reversed now... But you give the impression that it was the oposite, which from my personal experience is not the case.
Maybe the way I worded it was a bit confusing; if I recall correctly, I wasn't talking about how it worked before and after 2.2, but rather how these different-version objects behave in the current version. The 2.2-introduced objects seem to behave differently than 2.1 ones. Hope that clears it up a bit. Thanks for pointing it out though! I'll try to be a bit more clear with these points in future videos.
not much u can do besides bringing the other object a z layer down or potentially recreating the object with another one, tileset is a result of how the game is coded, so there's not much that can be done to fix this issue sadly
@@thwomysdonutland9042 u should just search this up urself, i aint the expert here, altho i think it may have to do with sprite sheets (how most of the textures are stored within the game files and rendered in gd)

Do you have the in-game Low Detail Mode option turned on? If so, try turning it off. If it doesn't work, rest assured that the bugfix update is coming very soon!
@@auskgd what the P button to the right of the add button does, all I know is that it makes the group added purple and it’s gone if you’re selecting multiple objects

Do you know how to add those things that guide you where to jump like a triangle pointing upward next to spike that tells you where to jump and arrow next to jump pad to tell you to jump there how do you add those?
Well there is a white triangle in the white pentagon section in build but when you try to make it bigger using warp function, it just makes it more pixelated

What happens if the tileset number is higher on an object than the object that you want to place in front, but that object is on the toppest z layer?

That adds one certain object as the Group ID parent. You can use that for retention centers, for instance@@sebastianmjynapiermjy
