My first rodeo, they put me on a little runt herford bull. He bucked hard straight down the arena. Walking back to the chutes, I though I was hooked for life doing this, but it didn't work out. Couldn't handled the fear.

My father was very slim like JB, could eat anything, but even so a slim person still needs to watch what they eat because its the damage that happens inside the body, eg: arteries and around the organs etc. that is affected by too much of the wrong types of fats and high sugar carbs. So take good care of yourself JB, so you can enjoy your hard won success and with your loved ones for a long time. Even gave me tickets for a show. Mr. George is a great man. He's just not like your more than likely favorite "country" singer Luke Bryan
Weird.. loved rodeoin' did it all long time...been to many of the rodeo arenas you spoke of and I still have horses I love horses unlike the weak of heart cowboy...but the one thing I always excused myself to go to the ladies room for at the rodeo was during the bull ridin'..can hardly watch it!! Nothing more stupid than the bull poker bull shit...now that's insane!! I've watched bull ridin' countless times through my fingers....it gets my adrenalin going so much so, I can barely take it!! I watched this whole pod cast.. and I've determined that y'all bull riders are plum crazy!! Loved it!

Tooth broke in half, and possible abscess, and doing an interview, one tough cowboy, nothing more painful then dental pain. Sitting there with a abscess and possible nerve exposed. That’s serious pain. And keeping his composure.
Gotta do what you've gotta do. Have a niece who's Dad is a rancher. Got snowed in during a blizzard, she had a double ear infection. Called Doc, he told the folks how much penicillin to give her. She yelled pretty good cuz only needles they had were cattle size. Finally got to the Doc 4 days later when wind stopped and plows could get out.
Longest I've ever been up without any sleep is about 60 hours when I was in the military. I was so tired I was basically hallucinating. My mind was seeing things that weren't there. Shadows really screwed with me. Also I did hotshots hauling cars around. Drove for 30 hours straight once lol. That was fun ducking weigh stations. Probably couldn't get away with it now. At night I was seeing shit. I saw a lot of deer and animals waiting too jump into the road that weren't actually there. Every mile marker and post was a deer in my head.
I meet jb at a hole in the wall bull ride in Charlotte area one night when I was about 15 and have always wanted to go to his ranch and just get a tour I grew up on a beer cattle farm in the foothills about an hour hour and a half from mooresville
JB you need to follow the Moon & Farmers Almanac and those horns won't bleed. My Grandmother told 2 big ole Vets to cut her cows horns according to 2 days Farmers Almanac. Out of 100 head none bled at all.
