I usually have a lot of difficulty watching any video longer than 5 mins but I found myself wishing this one was longer!! Can't wait to see part 2!

Don’t forget to install a ramp of some sort or the animals to get out if they fall in by accident

      There's a log for that!

bad for wildlife - creatures need shallow slopes for access and breeding. Young creatures need to be able to exit easily as well.

@CHatty-g2q there are logs for easy access in and out, and shallow areas created with bricks on the shelf areas but thanks for your feedback!

Great video! We moved in to a house with a pond a few years ago. I can defo recommend seeing if you can aquire some tadpole eggs from a nice neighbour if you can. Frogs apparently are quite fond of their original pond and will tend to go prefer it for laying more eggs. And they are really fantastic at keeping flies (and slugs) down in the garden as they eat the larvae. We used to have the worst, fly infested summers until our resident frogs moved in. Obviously they dont completely erradicate them but it makes a much nicer ecological equilibrium :) Cant wait to see the pond filled up!

That's the hope! Froggy slug patrol. I've put out community feelers asking if anyone has got frogspawn or tadpoles I can kidnap. We used to get a lot of toads in the garden but I haven't seen one for years 😕
