What I like even more then this officer saving him is, he didn't immediately cuff him, ask for his ID or anything like that. In that moment, talking was the best thing for this young man. First officer I've seen do this. Most would cuff him up and all that before they even try to talk. By the video, this great officer didn't even take him anywhere and let him leave with his family. I hope this CPL. runs for sheriff because training goes from the top down and this man deserves and should be the top of command in that dept.
