Some people saying the mom don't care because the kid still out here doing what he doing. Some saying he needs a dad. The truth of the matter is no matter how good of a job you do, your children will make their own decisions. Your job as a parent is to teach. It is the child who has to make the decisions.
Yeah like this is something I feel internet sleuths do need to learn that not every bad decision a kid makes is the parent's fault. Obviously parent's need to be mega criticized when they do something wrong but a kid living under strict conditions can still do wrong.

Man, if I had been caught doing stuff like that and they called my mom, I'd have rather gone to jail for the rest of my childhood than be released to her. Mama would have skinned me alive. She may have been a single mother with five kids (divorced when I was about 10) but she was an iron-gripped dragon with us kids because she knew if she wasn't, she'd have five wild horses going five different directions. All because they wanted a sneaky drink behind their parent's back. The only thing it got them was felony charges,drug charges, stinking hangover and the humiliation of everyone knowing they got caught by the police. Because 1 was seen puking outside so drunk he couldn't stand up straight
