In the very first one, during 1st phase of the game 2 teams were picking candies freely (from lane creeps or jungle creeps or stealing candies from enemy heroes or their own basket). During second phase Rosh was waking up and chasing random hero until he didn't receive a candy, and after time run out both teams combined had to kill him.
Pick heroes with blink abilities e.g Anti-Mage, Queen of Pain, and when Roshan is about to ask you for a Candy, blink to the cliffs and Roshan can't follow you there. But, eventually it was fixed and they allow Roshan to go through cliffs. However, you can pick Natures Phophet to avoid Roshan and keep chasing you... At the last phase of the game, everyone is joined together to kill Roshan with increasing Lvl... The higher the Lvl the better the Reward. Correct me if I'm wrong... Hehe 😊
the good thing on the first diretide is all item is still tradable and all the gift on diretide have a chance to get arcana and farm sell and trade and player that time still not toxic good old time XD

I just want them to bring back the event where we get to make greevil couriers with elemental effects. I want to collect all greevil types with max elemental effects.
This mode going to suck as well and you all nostalgic, excited folk will complain soon for sure. Me ? Personally, I don't have expectations from Valve. See the production quality on this cringe shit. Probably spent $10 on it. Couldn't even make a cinematic.
