When he talks to them they discuss how Lalo paid for his dentist, which in reality was Lalo swapping Mateo’s dental records with his own. That’s why Tyrus believed Lalo had actually died since the dental records matched. And Sylvia died just cause she was a witness. Very brutal

Lalo kills Sylvia cause she was an loose end Pretty horrific that these couple were homeless and Lalo took them in and were thankful unaware that they were being used for a different sinister plan
