@@EvieWren In the books, the horses are given a lot more importance than the movies. For example, they were required to see stuff because the Nazgul ain't got eyes.

For example, the lead nazgul wasn't immune specifically to men for some stupid reason, he was just confident because it had been prophesied that no man WOULD kill him, not COULD. (sorry if I'm ranting, I would probably write a whole essay on this subject if given the chance)
@jimothyjimone You're not alone. T'is the nature of films that a massive lot of cuts are made to fit a book into 1-3 hours - The special extended editions to me are the only right way to watch the films. They still are incredible works of art, and I love them as much as I love the books, while seeing the limitations of the medium. It definitely is one of the most passionate and detailed adaptations there are, and the MASSIVE behind the scenes extras are a favourite of mine in themselves. Incredible craftmansship all around - with the respective cuts to fit into films less than 15 hours each (I'd have watched them tho).

Dude I watch youtube shorts daily and people think that my attention span is terrible. This video proves other wise. I am currently at 39:51 and I have been taking no breaks while watching. This is the perfect stuff to have on my phone while i work on something and listen and look every so often. its perfect idk how else to explain it
if you think watching a regular youtube video is an achievement, you definetly have a poor attention span. Especially if you’re watching it whilst doing something else
1) Each segment lasts about 3 seconds before jumping to the next, unconnected segment. Paying attention means that you can focus on a task and retain most of the information from that time. I.e., when you had a class in school, you should be able to not only listen to it without drifting away, but also be able to explain someone who wasn't there what was taught in broad strokes.
2) At least for neurotypicals, paying attention of an uninterrupted 45 minutes to 3 hours (depending on the level of personal involvement / engagement) is rather normal. So, good on you, if you actually have a terrible attention span - otherwise, ~40 minutes is nothing to brag about, particularly with this type of content, which does not require your attention to be able to follow.
3) It kind of speaks for itself that you describe this video as perfect to watch while working on other things... dividing your attention usually means that you aren't paying attention to any of the tasks. But yeah, I also like to have something in the background while I do other stuff.
4) If multiple people around you experience you as having a bad attention span, that's a pretty good indicator that you do have a problem in that regard. You might want to let that be checked out. Nothing wrong with neurodivergent, but life can become much easier, when you know what's going on for real - it's also necessary to find an appropriate way of dealing with something like attention issues. Best of luck.
