I was going to say same thing! The first light I unscrewed the housing and it was a bitch trying to screw it back on. So I unscrewed the tailight and BINGO!! WAY easier when I did second light
Hey man- did you notice your light bulb housings being a little crooked ? Do they have any adjustments or they simply go in how they go? I noticed on my car they’re a little off. Not 100 percent straight.
You might experience shorter bulb life because those led bulbs will generate alot of heat. Then its back to reinstalling the longer lasting original bulbs.
You can remove and reinstall the entire fixture through the opening without difficulty. Makes changing the bulb effortless.
Thanks for tip on turning bulb 180 to function. Those LED look exact to what I use on my vintage stereos, never had that issue having to turn.
Glad it worked out for you
Oh yeah! You muat put the screws back in by laying down

FYI, it is way easier to remove the inside tail light on each side and just reach in and remove and replace the bulb.
Thanks for the info. Good thought!

Michael Morris that all depends on where you get them from... got mine from vettelights and they’re still going strong two years later
