    It's neat , but with No Solar , No LP and 50 Amp service ... think there's Definitely room for Upgrades ...

      Yes, but at that price point, it makes sense. With added upgrades from the manufacturer, the price would increase drastically imo. I would do my own add on for this price.

      It's not a travel trailer though so solar and gas aren't necessary. This is meant for someone who is a traveling professional and doesn't want to rent for 2 months.

    Not bad. Should consider two versions in future. I would prefer 30 amp with generator and solar. Don’t like high tv’s. Like the murphy bed idea. Like cpap potential.

    wow!! I am in love with this unit!! It would be great to park on property as a tiny house and yet easy enough to travel with. You are right though a generator would be needed to do some off grid camping.

    In 30 years of owning everything from a toy hauler popup, to a 40 ft foretravel and some trailers and toy haulers in between. Co owned a customization shop. Managed a few parks I am forever reminded that nobody who designs or sells RVs actually uses them. They are just lipstick on a pig and if I had 52 cents for every time I’ve heard the words “and this is what sets it apart from all the others” I would have retired 30 years earlier. I love going to the big RV shows and spending a few days asking “which camper / RV do you have” to the sales or service people and getting the “well we don’t have….. because of …..”
    go to a MC shop and the sales persons and mechanics all talk about their bikes.
    If you drive through the local GM dealer and see all the mechanics drive a Toyota or Honda - you know that they know. Just like the RV space knows everything is the same infrastructure, it’s just slapped together in a different place.
    So many people want just a fridge inside, a queen bed and a bathroom - with sitting space should the weather force you inside. They make everything like you’re going to live in it permanently, yet NOWHERE in the US is an RV an approved permanent dwelling. Who decided a fake fireplace was a good idea for a “camper”. And anything above a popup should have been eliminated from 30amp service 20 years ago. It’s absurd that 27+ ft units “with 3+ season” advertising still come with 30 amp service as the standard. Get 4 persons in a 27 ft unit in Maine in June and it will barely keep cool, need some autumn added heat, that 1500 watt space heater will prevent you from using the blender.
    And all engineering math says the 12% empty tongue weight isn’t getting counteracted by a couple of 60LB e-bikes when the bulk of storage used is a forward compartment, a battery and full propane on the tongue. Then the project manager was hesitant to rule out a 1/2 ton and you know some sales person is gonna say “sure - it will be fine”
    TL;DR quit producing junk of 40 different model numbers across multiple “manufacturers” who are really the same units with “features” YOU want to add, yet users don’t really want or need.

    Really great looking rig. I love no slides, the interior looks beautiful, porch is innovative and smart. It seems perfect for off grid use (and the rep even calls out beaches and mountains) , but then they kneecap it with no propane and 50amp service. It’s a great opportunity to offer a serious solar package at a reasonable price, but without solar or a generator it completely misses the mark. You don’t want to take this thing to plug in at a KOA, you want to take it out into the forest or desert. Cover the roof with solar, mount a minisplit on the porch, and fill a cabinet with batteries. Price it well and the buyers will come. They managed to innovate in every way except for practicality. Let’s see what the next model year can offer.

    Awesome unit. I see a downside to camping off grid with it only being a 50A service and no LP/12V options. They should make a model that is LP/12V compliant so it’s easier to take off grid without needing to run a generator. But this is so close to my ideal unit.

    They are on the right track with this one! Would rather have the rear and middle sections reversed. Really needs a built-in generator, especially since it's all-electric. Don't need dual sinks. Looking forward to following this line. Fantastic.

    This is a great little camper for the single guy who want's to hit a park with full hookups for a few weeks tops. I love the color scheme both outside and in, the rear deck, the toy hauler like garage/master bedroom, the lighting and decor, the bathroom, the windows and sliding doors and the overall build quality. Things that leave a little to be desired are the ammount of cabinet space for longer stays, the electric only fridge that makes it hard to keep it cold going down the road, especially on longer drives. The open shelf, basically pointless on an RV in motion. And finally, Murphy beds in an RV add a tent camping feel to the RV whcih is why I bought the RV in the first place, because I was done tent camping. Oh and the couch is great for one but for two here I am assembling somethign again. I don't know, might me a tough sell. You'll get em with the paint and rear deck!

    Can’t wait to see one in person !
    What are the specs. Length, water capacities etc.
    For the kitchen shelve - create an option for cabinets instead of open shelf - much easier during travelling
    For rear sun deck look at adding options for a ramp for a small motorcycle/scooter. 50cc is around 200 lb.
    Please make a 5th wheel version also. This will help complete the portfolio !

    I do like this option. I honestly would not use the table. I prefer a dedicated sleeping space. I also prefer propane with the propane residential stove. I would also like a fridge with 12volt or propane option. A floating table on the couch would be great. I do love the windows and insulation. I would also like to see a larger sink. I'm not a fan of having to hook up to shore power all the time, nor would I want to run a generator 24/7 for boondocking.

    This is amazing. An enormous amount of thought went into this design and it really shows well. I don't get excited by 'new' designs very often, but this is actually something that I could imagine living in. Each room has oversized windows on at least two sides. The bathroom space is remarkable and, while the kitchen doesn't offer as much storage as some other models, it is very appealing and appears to offer just enough space to be usable with better counter space than many conventional designs. The refrigerator is very usable with the bottom freezer. I do wonder what it might be like with a desk or table height surface that could expand to offer dining space for four in the flex room. Overall it is just brilliant!

    Hey JD hope you're having a great day? I really love this IBEX RVS1 travel trailer. The sun deck on the back an having two sliding glass patio doors is great. The king bed in the back is awesome. The large bathroom is great, plus having a place for a washer an dryer amazing. The kitchen an living room area is great. You have sleeping for two an if you have a guest they can sleep on the chase. I hope that they consider adding a onan generator to this unit! An the control system is automated is amazing, you get in an all you have to do is speak to it. This IBEX being an all electric unit is great. The upgraded shower is awesome. The hitch grill an table is a great add on. He says you can put a dirt bike up there. Is there a ramp that goes over the stairs? How do you get it on and off? Also, I think it would be more functional for the grill to swing out the other direction. This way, when you come down the stairs and make a u-turn to the right, you're facing the grill, instead of having to walk around the grill. LOL @ "spa like environment". Some of these guys are trying too hard.

    Good price, lovely trim, and great all-around design. Only complaint: claiming more R value from laminated radiant barrier. Radiant barrier needs an air gap, laminating completely removes that, so it's actually giving a whole lot of nothing.

    @YvonneMiller789 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    This is a very nice unit. They should add a generator like you suggested. I really don’t like the table and Murphy bed concept. I wish it was a desk that can be lowered and remain level when the bed comes down, so you don’t have to remove any items. 🙂 I’m not sure if I would want to sit across from my kitchen all day. Maybe the living area is not the best place. Overall, it’s a beautiful RV suite.

Change the bathroom around so when in a rv park, your not looking into your neghibors campsite area. And change the side glass door to a door and window. To add some better steps and another window that can be left open. Also do you really need two bathroom sinks. Save some cash and get rid of one.

    so given the fridge is only 110V, anytime you arent't plugged in your refridgerator is useless????? If you're changing locations, are you just going to ditch your unsed food or have to find space for coolers to hold the stuff. Not having LP or a 12V option doesn't make sense to me --if you ever move the thing. This seems to imply it really is a destination unit and, nothing more....

  • @jamessveinsson6006

    With the total weight around 75 to 8500 they could afford to put two sliders on plus a rear bedroom and make it a little longer if you’re gonna pull it with at waste a three-quarter to 1 ton pick up truly make it a destination unit plus you do want a space for a top end generator

  • @chrisv2658
    @chrisv2658 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Interesting concept. Having to always put away the table for the bedding, well, it would seem too cumbersome. No propane even when favoring full hookup locations verses fully depending on a generator when needed doesn't make good sense. Even considering using in a more static location where sound electrical infrastructure would be paramount.

    Wow awesome trailer. Would like to see a generator or something to power this if you don't have 50amp available.

    Nice unit, for a1st run it has many great features. A slide out in the kitchen/lr would be nice just for the space, maybe in other suite versions

    Can we please get a porch/rack like this on a bunkhouse?

    If it's truly a 'destination' trailer, there might be benefits to having a shorter one that's only a 200sq ft footprint.

    Would be PERFECT for the beach if it was off the grid ready!

    I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THE RVS2!!! Any idea when they may release a proof model? The only thing I dont like is the 120v fridge. When I get to the campground, the last thing I wanna do is get groceries out of the car and load into the fridge....

    Great job on this build. Hopefully they will add the power pro to their other brands like Heritage Glenn And Hemisphere Elites !!!!
