    Finally! Reviews of these products by a woman are waaaay too few and far between. Thank you!

    Finally, pack reviews by a woman and someone who isn’t 6 feet tall. Thank you! One request for future videos would be time stamped markers between each item to make scrolling to a specific bag in the review easier. Thanks again!

      So glad to hear it ☺️ The transit bag is the BEST in terms of its compartments!

    Really appreciate the laptop fit test! 16 inch MacBooks tend to fit in 15 inch laptop sleeves so I really appreciate that you showed it in practice!

    I'm a 5' woman who commutes EVERYWHERE (my commute to work is 1.5 hours). I appreciate your perspective as a fellow petite woman. Thank you for taking the time to put together this functional review in typical Vee fashion. Currently debating between the Totepack Compact and Via Workpack. Not me consistently rewinding and pausing the video to see how the bags sit on you.

    • @whatveewore
      @whatveewore  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much!
      Meanwhile, you're not alone navigating the Tokyo Totepack vs Via Workpack debate. I have the larger Tokyo Totepack so there was more of an obvious difference between the two styles you're currently trying to decide between. But the general gist is - Via Workpack - minimal; Tokyo Totepack - more compartments. Hope that helps!

    Thank you for the video! I loved how it was entertaining (your work meeting/email comment got me!), relatable and has super useful information. Because I over stuff my backpack, I usually look like a turtle when I'm wearing it. The fact that I can be an organize turtle makes it even better lol and now I'm not worried about sizing up in capacity either (I'm 4 ft 11.5). I'll be buying 6 of the bags you mentioned. Thank you again!

    I'm glad you took the 20L Tokyo totebag, I got the smaller one and I kind of regret it. I really want to like the bag, but personally it doesn't work for me.
    Probably because of the small size and the way it zips made the bag feels even smaller compared to my other backpack with similar size. The front pocket system that opens side way doesn't work for me as well.
    I live in Hong Kong where it's hot and humid. The material doesn't feel breathable for the climate here unfortunately. The strap system with no dangle is brilliant, I wish all backpack straps are designed like that! In the end, I gave that bag away since I'm not using it much and ended up using Osprey Daylite Totepack - doesn't look as professional, but the pockets and organization system of the bag works better for me

    Thanks for representing the petite community because we use bags as well and it is not easy to find reviews on how the bag looks like on a shorty (I’m 5’0” and seemed to be shrinking now that I gave up heels)
    When I travel I need to carry a 15” PC and a 13” MacBook Pro. Which of these backpack works best for two laptops?
    Thanks again for the superb video!

    • @whatveewore

      You are so welcome! I think the Venture Ready Backpack, the Transit Workpack or the Tokyo Totepack would work for you if you're carrying those devices at the same time. If you're carrying a few other bits and pieces in addition, the first two styles I mentioned have more capacity for you to work with.

    Great review, thank you! What I am looking for a No 1 must have, is a luggage pass through strap functionality, not many of Bellroy’s backpacks have this, especially eg the classic and transit, unfortunately, if I’m correct. Cheers Jen.

  • @Girlsroxy
    @Girlsroxy 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Loved the video! Was window shopping for a tote for uni to go with my existing backpack and I think the wonder tote would be a great complement to it. Really appreciate the fact that you did the laptop pocket fit test with multiple sized devices - knowing the smaller wonder tote could fit up to a 15" laptop (compared to 14" as advertised) really helped me in figuring out which size would suit my devices and use cases, particularly because I carry my laptop in a sleeve, which means I need a bit of extra room in the pocket
    A similar addition to this that I think could be good for future reviews is a water bottle test - the designated pockets in the wonder tote seem better for shorter and fatter bottles rather than tall ones. I think it would be good to know the rough height of a water bottle that would fit in the pocket and still allow the bag to zip. Can you give any insight into this on the wonder tote?
    And of course I've just missed out on the big xmas sale season... not in a rush but seeing as this bag is relatively new (?) I'm hoping it does get discounted during their next sale

    I'm interested in some of Bellroy's bags and your video is really helpful.
    9:52 I'm considering getting the Via Workpack, but my concern is the position of the mesh pocket zipper.
    Do you think there is possibility of the zipper scratching 16 inch MacBook Pro while carrying it in the laptop compartment?

    • @whatveewore
      @whatveewore  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think the zipper will be an issue - I've carried my 16" Macbook in my Via Workpack with no problems :)

    Hi Vee ~ a great round up of so many Bellroy bags I have been eyeing (especially the tote). I couldn't agree more about trying to find reviews on the TOKYO TOTE backpack - they were all by guys - and so hard to gauge if it would still be sytlish and not-too-masculine, wish I'd come across your review sooner. For the Bellroy Tokyo Wonder tote, even though the bag is spacious, the zip width is very narrow. This means that while you will be able to fit bulky items in the bag, you will not be able to zip up your tote. This is a big turn off for me. Also, most of Bellroy backpacks can’t stand on its own, which is trivial yet annoying, so u end up hugging the bag while sitting instead of having it sit in your lap. And no, I don’t like to lay my bag flat as it will slide off when the bus jerks or stop suddenly.
