It’s actually one of the most comfy backpack. Surprisingly so. It just sits very nicely on my back. I think because of it’s ergonomic etc, despite not having that much cushion. I’ve tried a few AER. They are well-cushioned for sure, but somehow they are not that comfy for me.
I have this and it is super comfortable, I also wish it would open more but I love the water bottle compartments (also use them to store my glasses cases, umbrella…). I carry my work laptop there without a sleeve and didn’t had an issue. But for summer I am switching to an alpaka metro backpack which is 8L less but everything I carry also fits there with space to spare.
Agreed the access to the main compartment is not my favorite, but it's a great bag! I as well have been using the Alpaka Metro backpack and i loveeee it!
I have this bag, love the look, but do not like the small opening at the top. Difficult to see anything inside the bag and not much organization. The front pockets are small as well. Do you have any recommendations on a tote backpack type of bag with more organization and wider opening at the top? Thank-you.
Yes agree it is a bit of a dark hole in the main compartment, check out this review this bag may be a better fit for you -- th-cam.com/video/wUtJuyYikIY/w-d-xo.html
Can you tell us what the differences are between the regular Tokyo Totepack and the compact version? I think if you are going to go with a Totepack, it’s pretty much a given that you’ll wear it on your back most of the time. Some people like the accessibility of the tote and also want to carry the bag as a backpack because of its weight. For a Totepack I would also want to be able to throw the handles over my shoulder.
Your title includes “Best Female Work Bag” which suggests either the bag has a gender or the company designed it for females only. Both of those things are incorrect. It may be a good bag for females but it’s not a female work bag. Check yourself.
Interesting take. This is Gear for the Girls so I am trying to help find the best backpacks for females..hence why I put it in the title. But thank you for expressing how you feel :)
How do you feel about the tote/pack fusion bag? Let me know in the comments below!⬇

Personally I find the light padding and thin straps on Bellroy bags to be very comfy for my body type, everyone's different but i agree!

I have the mini version and im a dude. Best work bag I've ever had. Not a back pack/not a laptop bag. Great look, room for everything I carry.
Yes its such a good looking bag! Glad you like

Just smaller! And agreed these tote handles are too tight to put over your shoulder it's def more a backpack
Needs to open more, not a big fan. But your new channel is great. I’m looking for an EDC bag for work.
I have been hearing this a lot I do agree. Have you tried the Bellroy Melbourne? Or even the Aer Pro Pack?
Great review! Is this the limestone colorway?
Saltbush! Thank you :)

Considering to buy this for my wife and it really helps that your height is similar to her. Thanks for the review! 👏🏻🫶🏼
Yes you should she will love it!! Glad to help :)
I got one for me and one for my wife. I actually got the compact version for my wife, but I think it’s a bit too small.
