I just want to say thank you for this video. It's simple and straight to the point. I have used this a few times already as I forget the procedure. It has come in very handy. Thank you so much.
Thank you Dr. Todd Grande for this heldful video. I would be gratful if you could post another video explaining how to compare two categorical variables (eg. attitudes and motivation) based on gender, to see if there are any differences. Ps, the Likert scale is similar to the one on your video, e,.g 6-point Likert scale . Thank you
So I have an odd circumstance In that the variable that I need reverse coded isn't on a whole number likert-like scale. It is derived from a litigious analysis so the variable is "Fewer words" or "Fewer Diverse Words", and is a count. How is this dealt with in SPSS?
Do we need to recode all the observable items of one latent variable? or Is there a chance that only one observable item can be reverse coded to check the behavior of item?
so what happens to the values? i recode into different variables and the values in variable view are not there?? and i cant use recode into same variables because is lots of questions it gets me confused. values after recoding is empty
Thanks Dr.Todd , I have found many videos on this subject , but as usual I chose your video because it is simple and covers the topic . However, I hope you write your email Mr.Ayman Abbas Sudan - East Africa

Thanks Dr. Grande.
how can i reverse the items of the scale when they are continuous numbers with spss? like isntead of having 1,2,3,4 etc i have 25.43 32.49 etc
Can we get the data which you use in the video please? If it was so, we could simultaneously practice.
I am sure we will need this one
