In game 1, Spellbook player probably felt that popping the set that ended up being Fire Hand was the throw. And tbh I was kinda surprised they didn't Fate that set either. GAME 3 TOO LOL The hands are only bad in the mu if the opponent respects you, so Geargia player was right in keeping them in judging by their opponents behavior towards them... ehh they're still not great though. Probably the best cards to side out, those and any Black Horns
Decks like Infernity and Mermail existing in the same format makes people want to just get way too aggro with decks like Books when they can just play the long game.
The on-summon priority thing was a dumb nuance that took until Duelist Alliance to get rid of. Yeah it crippled Ignition effects but the good ones don't really need the help anyway, and most newer cards have on-summon effects as a separate "bonus" effect to "replace" that.
Looked like Luck was fishing for that interaction by chaining Bottomless each time. No reason he should have been able to chain Bottomless to eff this isn’t Edison lol. My guy should have just been missing windows but opp wasn’t a 🦈
4:49 first of all priority doesn't exist anymore in HAT Format and when you activate Bottomless and he's chaining exciton knight on bottomless, the tower would miss timing again, so BIG BIG missplays and cheatings here from both sides.
there is indeed priority in HAT it’s called Turn player priority and it’s still around today. i’m not talking about ignition priority And you would want to do cl1 Bottomless cl2 evilswarm so it missed timing
No Hands and Prio seems fine, if you can avoid a format that feels like Edison with Brain Con at 3 while also having extremely highrolly combo decks in the formats they create interactive gameplay. Even 2023 decks would struggle vs Infernity ending on Barrier Tripple Break+Dweller or Sylvan ending on Stardust Spark+Felgrand+Orea+Emptiness (literally stackable with Orea in this deck, making Upstart into Prosperity)
He didn't have to use the prio, he could have just waited, which would have forced the sb player to use bottomless, and exiciton as cl2 would cause the towers to miss timing.
Luckexteme really started sharking when he could potentially lose in game 3 after playing like a bot
Love seeing the HAT format coverage return!
Damn, we really saw the villain win in this one
Move over Edison.
Get away GOAT
Step aside Dragon Ruler
Take a seat, Ishtear
The REAL retro format has arrived.

To my concern:
If u put a card in GY and return it after 10 sec thats not a mc anymore
it also depends which rules you are going by , cause certain places like DRG and Colosseum have written rules
@@TheDBGrinder Im curios do these rules state a timer in seconds ? like a specific number wich rules what coudve been a misclick?
kind regards
Please more of HAT Format! Love it 🫶🏼

Funniest remark. “Dude you’re playing like cheeks and you’re talking like this” I’m dead lol.
Man there were actually so many misplays.
I guess that will just happen when both players dont play the format to often.

Duelingbook should be add this format in rated

On-summon ignition priority was removed in 2011. Or what are you talking about.
They were had to be in a discord call or something, the maxx c and bottomless etc. wouldn't fly otherwise
now that i watch more nvm, they're just stupid
Red was making me angry man
Hat seems so slow but i loved it
Rip kid shouldve skipped bp after exciton i think? In gqme 2 but it may just be no damage idr
Priority exciton, detach, then chain bottomless
but why do that , over CL1 bottomless CL2 exciton knight ? you stop the towers from summoning my way

Format could be good without soul charge
There is a format that is literally that, it's called Vegas format (April 2014)
@@eneaemme860 would see more videos of this format than hat
but that’s with no hands or PRIO : (

ur crazy if u think that xD
3 soul charge was MUCH funnier than a sacky one of
and combo edcks were craaazy!
it is really a joy to have that card
It HAT is every popular in def bring back the geargias shit Is straight fuckin gas
Lucky was so lucky 😂😂😂 he wouldn’t have gotten away with any of that shit.
This is the worst yugioh gameplay I've seen in my life. Neither of these players should ever shit talk anyone for any reason
LuckExtreme is James Arc. He’s a really good player throughout the game’s history and plays a lot of retro formats (most notably Goat and Edison).
James Bot bro
@@leonvillarica9965 Yeah, this wasn’t his best performance for sure.
Spellbook clow
Grinder losing his mind of the Bottomless over Exciton but he fully forgot it's a Quick Effect and he has turn player priority.
