I really like the Jollibee spaghetti. It’s just different and it’s good. I’ve tried their spicy chicken and couldn’t handle it lol. We don’t have them where I live now but I’ve been known to stop at a Jollibee on my way to a Raptors game.
Both were good and I think you'll like Jollibee. Other than the chicken, if you like the McDonald's style pies, they do a peach mango pie using the fried crispy shell. Here in Canada they don't do the crispy shell at McD's anymore, they are baked now and have been for more than 10yrs I think. So when Jollibee came with the fried pies, I was smashing back big time!
Nice. Before the video I would have guessed Jollibee. Felt like that would have been the popular prediction. But glad you picked your honest choice! Mary Browns is great!
Respect for doing the spicy version. That probably gave Mary Brown’s the edge. The Mary Brown’s by my husband’s work is crazy with the spice and sometimes his co-workers send home the extra when it is crazy spicy. I love it.
@@notoriouslybratty the heat at Mary Browns is definitely no joke - at least for these types of chain chicken joints. It’s one of the spiciest out there. Guess that’s just what I was craving that day!
Yey made it on the intro😂 I'm wondering if both were just regular and not the spicy version, would Jollibee have the edge? I usually don't opt for the spicy one, but I'll give mary's a shot
@IGetFood oh I did try out cowabunga. I'm no pizza connoisseur, but I don't think it lives up to being the best cheese slice "in the world." It's good, but it's not blow my mind good. I know ive had better hahah..anyways seems you tried your fair shair of pizza joints in toronto/nyc. Would be interesting to hear your take on it.
@@IGetFood yep, since there wasn't any spicy variant when the chicken was first introduced decades ago. It was meant for the original recipe since it only has simple seasoning, the gravy is a requirement.
If i want fried chicken and im in the Richmond Hill/Markham area, I go to Parkway Kitchen. A bit greasy, but it is the best fried chicken I have ever eaten.
I would love for both of them to come near me. Living in India, you'd think that a Filipino franchise would have come here by now. And no Mary Browns here either but.....we did have the Malaysian owned MarryBrowns for a long time. Looks like they have closed both the outlets.
I would say Mary Browns wins as well over Jollibee. It doesn't have the crunch but has much more flavour. I would've tasted their gravy too because I personally feel its better than Jollibee's. Good review overall👍🏽🔥🔥
I still have not yet tried Jollibee, but Mary Browns blows KFC, Popeyes, etc.. out of the water. The only fried chicken I would prefer over it is Korean fried chicken. I did not find MB even remotely spicy, but perhaps they have made improvements.
Yeah I never really though about MB's spicy being spicy but I also don't remember that spicy blend added on top. That season went a long way in the heat dept.
Hmm $4 dollars more worth the extra taste? 10.49/10.99 vs 6.25 from Popeyes on Tues (4.99+1.25 fries addon). I'm probably sticking with Popeyes since I eat regularly and $4 adds up.
Oh, if you want to factor in the special pricing, sure absolutely, I'm with you and would go that way. But can't always go on that day so in the interest of level playing field comparison, I'm using the regular pricing.
I prefer Mary Browns. Flavour is so much better Had Jollibee once and the chicken was very bland and over priced for leg and thigh as they don't serve other pieces of the chicken. The chicken should stand on its own not by having to use gravy with it
Hey, on a side by side basis, almost anyway (maybe about 20mins in between trying each one), I picked Mary Browns too. But I still do like Jollibee and usually I ask for leg & thigh specifically, even if there are white meat options - what can I say, dark meat guy here. Thanks for watching!
would be good to consume them at exactly the same time because once youve eaten your appetite decreases and succeeding food dont taste as good
@@justincecilsolomon1868 cool, you’re talking about the rule of diminishing returns. I get that.
I like them both over popeye and kfc. However, i find jollibee more consistent and reliable whereas some times i get underwheming chicken from MB.

That's okay, its your standard taste but still the Truth and Facts remain, that Jollibee is the number 1 and the best Fried Chicken in the World.

The best way to eat Jollibee chicken joy is with rice and then, pour the gravy on the rice.

Yeah, on this day was Mary Browns but nothing wrong with Jollibee. A lot of people were saying I should compare the regular and not the spicy
I'm not a chicken fan but Tropical Hut restaurant has the better spaghetti.
@@Unknownymous_Friend good to know!

Solid video. Also nice to see Mary Browns taking it even when you did not taste their gravy. Thats amazing for the chicken and taters.

The gravy is usually for the regular chicken, Filipinos mostly agree to not use gravy on the spicy chicken but you put it on your fries/rice.
