Really glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the compliment! I can’t imagine being a wrestling fan and not enjoying JCP. It was such a hot territory with so many fantastic workers, talkers and storylines!
@@WrestlingWithThe80s Around that time, yes. He'd ended up going to the AWA right after this. It was the first time I'd ever saw him but had been a fan for years. If I'd seen him in a mag before this, I don't remember so I probably did but I'm 12, 13 and 14 when I collected them so I was there for Dusty content and reading about other main eventers I didn't get to see. Looking back with hindsight being 20/20, I scratch my head over this because American Starship really wasn't that over. I mean they were pushed as you know but not to the level that this would be necessary. Crockett brings him out and he just announces he's leaving after a moment (No way I'm remembering how he phrased it after almost 40 years from one view lol) and the look on Crockett's face was as if they were losing someone just short of a Dusty Rhodes or Jimmy Valiant.
ole I think I didn't bookeo to JCP in 1984 ole bokeo to his company which was from CWFG I created the JCP booker in 1984 I think it was Dory for a while and I think it was like party as the main booker was Dory but you had a gary hart who bookeo a part of JCP
You are right, Dory booked shortly in early 80s but Ole also booked for Mid Atlantic at the same time he booked GCW. There were a number of different bookers including George Scott but Ole had a distinctive style that was in contrast to Dusty which I really wanted to highlight. Appreciate the feedback and I hope you enjoyed the episode!
Was JCP your favourite territory? What is your fondest memory from JCP/Mid Atlantic? How did we do? Let us know down below ⬇⬇⬇
Love all things Territories as well! And who knows the subject better than these four handsome dudes?! Cheers!!
Ted carries the load for us in the handsome department!😉
JCP is probably my favorite promotion of all time. This was a great discussion and you four make a great team.

First JCP episode I saw was when Scott Hall announced he was leaving JCP in a interview with Crockett.
Was that 1985?
