this happended to me a few times in january ( didnt anticipate the craze of the series 25 selling like hot bread) and i just cutted the bu8ble mailer in half, yea looks less professional but if it make it the right weigh its a win

Glad the envelopes finally turned up, always fun when dealing with supply chain issues!
Made the mistake of seeing what new Lego parts had been released and discovered that a new slope piece has been made….. solid cheese grater best describes them. Which is something I have been wishing Lego had made for a while; now if they can just come in all of the colours I want…. 😀
On the KDDK music channel this week actual music listening is very short (fiancé saw James Blunt on Saturday so cd player has been mainly reserved for his back catalogue and his new album!), however Sea of Tranquillity did a review on a Lebanon based prog band called Turbulence, so looked them up on TH-cam and decided to take a punt on their new release.
Which turned up yesterday…….along with a second cd in the same packaging….
Checked the order, definitely not charged for it and definitely not ordered. Anyway, the band is Naked Raygun, and the album is punk rock which was an interesting listen.
Limelight? That’s a new one on me.
Anyway, hope Easter was good and not too many Easter eggs were consumed.

Glad to hear Lego are now making parts to your specifics :) I'm sure more colours will come in time.
Now on to the interesting stuff, the KDDK music channel. I feel for you, I am certainly grateful that Mrs Brick Arena has a similar taste in music to me so I am a little bit lucky in that regard, but good to hear your being a good partner and tolerating if not enjoying James Blunt. I've not heard that particular episode of SoT yet but am sure I'll get to it and will try and give a listen to Turbulence. That must have been a nice surprise, getting the bonus CD. Limelight are a band that never quite made it, they only had the one album and a couple of singles and mainly toured the working mens clubs of the north. They did some support stints for Saxon and others which saw them get close to breaking through but sadly it wasn't to be and they ended up being a successful Queen Tribute band. Great album though which is on TH-cam I think. As for me, I have been continuing my early eighties journey by watching loads of Iron Maiden documentaries and listening to the back catalogue as well as a lot of W.A.S.P and learning about their early years in Sister and Circus Circus. I found a live show of Circus Circus and listening to the songs its amazing how many of them turned into W.A.S.P classics in another guise. hope you had a good Easter too. Not eaten a single Easter egg :(
