it has holes on the backside of the cover. You have to put them into pins in the back. Just did mine.

Yea, I got confused too. I thought they were incorrectly installed in my vehicle, but the manual says the arrow should face towards the engine.

Direction of filter is wrong .The air is comig from bumper to compartment(OUT > IN)

The filter direction shown in the video is right! The arrows have to point to the front of the car. (see BMW docs for service partners)
