LMFAO I remember that day. The old man got his mazda bravo full of beer too. I miss Murwillumbah My home town. But had to move away due to finding work else where and no work in my home town because businesses rather get out of towners then support locals.

A fantastic find which every way you look at it!
"Theft by find[ing]" means that if you lose your wallet, then it still belongs to you and not the guy who picks it up. Which is really sensible if you think about it.
In this case though, it was pretty safe to assume that the owner wouldn't want the bottles back. Good think the police also had some common sense!
