With the hard cased tent can a kayak be mounted on top? The cross bars im loking at says 200lb capability, do different brands have different weight capacity? Is it the different brands i need to look into for weight capacity?

Am i right in thinking that eight exposed nuts are all that would stand in the way of a thief making off with my £2,000 roof tent?

you get security nuts that need a special key to tighten / loosen them (bit like the lock nuts on car wheels) so I'd be using them. However, a cordless angle grinder will render any additional security useless as you can either cut through the bolts or roof bars, whatever is quicker.

Hey, was just wondering about if there is any issues with car alarm going off if moving about in the tentbox. Obviously if the car is locked would it trigger car sensors? Please get back to me. Thankyou :)

There should be a way to disable the motion sensor on the alarm. Older cars you used to be able to do it by putting the key in the door but a lot of doors are keyless now.
