Thanks for this video. I see how other drivers are 4-5 seconds faster than me and TC is much of that difference. Watching saved replays of qualy sessions top drivers (some of them are professionals in fact) of the them, in Monza for example, use TC 1 and 2 depending on what part of the circuit they are, so in this example (Stafano Paladini) he uses TC 2 for curves 4, 5, 6, 7 and TC 1 for the rest of the circuit. But well, consistency is first thing here, and I'm finishing always in positions 6 to 10 every race even with some pro's in the race so I'm happy with my progress by now (I always qualify right now between 12 and 16th and ends up in the top 10. I'm very near to reach 60 points of Safety in ACC, which is my main goal now while keeping Race Craft at 99 as much as possible. Thanks again.

I very much like driving your Mclaren in ACC. Terrific video with some really good advice here, thank you for sharing.

Please correct me if I'm mistaken, I've heard John Watson mention it. But GT3 cars need traction control, no driver uses 0 that I know of in the GT3 championship.

Yeah, they're not built to be driven without it. TC and ABS at minimum lowest setting.

David Perel said they do sometimes turn it off when the track conditions are perfect when I asked him in a stream

Nice video. Curious though, you don't drive the McLaren irl without TC in racetrim do you?
While this is good advice, i honestly hope that the people i race with in ACC don't watch this. Too often people think they can handle low or no TC while they really should use (more of) it because they get carried away on cold tires first lap or just het too racey and end in the wall

@Patrick Stanek I know, it was a retorical question. Why push a non TC drivestyle on cars that use TC irl. Seriously the reason GT3 is so inclusive is the use of driving aids. Just kind of tired of this constant push towards a zero TC/ABS drivestyle. It is just not needed and it is fine to use TC and ABS and rely on it. Most people are just happy amatures after all.

    Hello !
    I have a question.
For Assetto Corsa, I do some racing, but also some touge.
I don't always use GT cars. I sometimes use cars offered by the server, which are not always racing cars.
The thing is that I don't know if the factory settings of Traction Control on this cars are designed for every day life, on the street, or if it is definitely designed for speed.
So, when I go on Touge with my... Nissan 370z Nismo for exemple, by default, the TC is ON. But is it because it is needed with this kind of car or is it because it would not be better without for RACING ?
I guess it's for street, because they take cars as they are sold at your car dealer, but I'm not sure.
I feel that in some cases, TC off would require to be so hesitant on the throttle that you would not go as fast as u would go with TC and smashing it.
Because those street cars are just not designed and optimised for tracks. sport cars can have a heavy engine with a lot of power, meaning you would easily go off the road and would not be able to accelerate as good as u would do assisted by a TC.
So... I really don't know ! 😭 for cars designed for racing, ur video taught me a lot, but what for sports cars/supercars designed for streets rather than tracks ???

I turned off TC in F1 2020 and i spin like crazy. Do you have to adjust the differential lock to compensate or is it just my foot that sucks?

Short shift out of corners, but you have probably nailed it now it’s been 3 months

@@Joshua-fn3ji actually i hardly play the f1 game, so turned tc back on (med). but in raceroom i use no assists anymore, and when i do play f1 i am getting more enjoyment. the FR90s (raceroom f1 1990s era) have no factory TC so that's good throttle practice.
