- "Since the couple live an extremely busy life, their three-bedroom apartment with a private terrace is designed in a minimal style to be as calm and serene as possible. “There’s a lot of noise and colour and people in my life so we kept things neutral, tasteful but not ostentatious. The space should not overwhelm you,” says Gaurav. Art punctuates the drawing and dining area, but only a few chosen pieces: clutter is a complete no-no for the couple, which is somewhat of a rarity in a city like Mumbai. “Gaurav works really hard. But ever since we moved in here he says the only thing he looks forward to is coming back home, which I think is amazing,” smiles Kirat.

Mounika b mostly they have used base white. Most probably satin paint. With use of 2-3 drops of yellow oxide. Hope this help 😇

After Zoya Akhtar's house, their house is the most aesthetically pleasing, well planned nest. Except it's almost too perfect. I'd be afraid that i'll get dirty & be cautious of my actions all the time, which makes it (for me) a bit anxiety inducing. Perfect perhaps is never comfortable. Plus the bed is tiny for Gaurav. Whaaaaaaat! It's his home. He should fit. Haha

You are really stupid to beleive in illusions of perfect world.
But if you always think of comfort and compromise with the aesthetics, there will be a time when the house loses its comfort and deteriorates in all aspects. Keeping things tidy and aesthetically pleasing is a way to keep ourselves at check. Use the house, don't misuse it. Keeping a dirty cup dripping with coffee from its sides on a sofa is no comfort. Its just negligence
