For all those who are saying she is faking her accent, she has traveled and lived in US for a certain period to study music at the Musicians Institute in California, before returning to Chennai. And, few people are quick to pick up accents depending on where they travel. And, this video is about her home and it's tour not her accent or looks.

she didn't even fake her accent. the only time she spoke in a slightly american accent, she was trying to sound pretentious on purpose. the interviewer on the other hand was totally faking his accent

She can easily afford a villa or more luxurious flat...even the styling of her flat was very normal not over the top or something. Unlike some celebs who jst but every expensive damn thing her flat felt I guess home.

Strange, I came away feeling quite the contrary! I can't help but feel how much her mannerism, her life style is disconnected from the rest of the country. I understand she has studied abroad and will come away with some influence. But even those of us who continue to live abroad for decades are not influenced this much.
But to her credit - she is succesful, opinionated and talented. Good luck to her!
@@MayureshKadu being Indian myself, other Indians always seemed strange to me 🤔. Like I never felt the need to show off my traditions from the get go. Living abroad has got nothing to do with it. I guess there are people like me and people like you? I dunno.

She came across as disconnected - someone pretending to be an American, but not one. Unfortunately that leaves her neither American nor Indian. Not criticism, merely observation. 🤷♂️

Aprt from the interviewer ,both dop and editor have done very unique job , they didnt treat it as a typical and formal home tour but rather bought their own quirkiness on table with zoom ins, pans and hand held moments. Adding those disco lights , and zzzzz from shrutis mouth and intercutting all the moments to the paino music is brillant .kudos to the whole team
