It's methane gas. Any waste that decomposes will create the methane to burn. Cow dung works best when mixed with water and given time to decompose properly

Supongo que el nivel del líquido tiene que estar por encima de los huecos de salida de los tubos y la presión del gas generado no sobrepase el peso del líquido en los tubos. De otro modo se perdería el gas, generando contaminación.

Second pipe is used to take slurry out. When cow dung, or organic manure completes it's activity by forming biogas, the residual part is can be used as fertilizer in agriculture. This slurry can taken out from this second pipe.

Просто самостоятельно собирать такую систему в квартире опасно. Если система сертифицирована, прошла испытания и абсолютно безопасна, есть инструкция, то можно было бы наладить производство таких установок.
Полностью обеспечить себя газом в квартире, это надо два кубометра на человека в месяц. Для приготовления пищи.
