    Here again because Rick Graham reminded me how awesome this song is, and I had to see the master perform the original. Seeing Marco on the drums makes it even sweeter!

      So far, beyond Rick's rendition.
      I'm pretty sure Rick could replicate it with not much difficulty

    Breathtaking, one of his finest performances I think.

    That chorus is magical every time. I always imagined this song being about being restricted by time (verse), trying to break free (chorus), and then finally doing it (ending)

    Marco makes a huge difference in the sound/vibe of this song. Great!

      +Simon Douglas I loved those tempo changes he did in the outro solo, it's so unexpected,

      Sorry...but the feel Jeff Campitelli brought to this song was undeniable! Marco is a good drummer but he lacks the feel and swing Jeff has and i still think Joe's touring band from 2001 and 2006 were much better!

      Alex Van Hagar Marco is just a 'good' drummer? he's amazing, in my opinion! He is far technically superior than Jeff, although I do agree that Jeff had great feel and groove to compensate for his lack of technique.

      +Alex Van Hagar really, perfect match. Jeff has feel in every single beat.

    Gran tema, profesor Satch no solo es experto en su instrumento sino que como compositor, una característica que también tenía Eddie van halen 🎸este es una de las mejores canciones de crystal planet.

    This is awesome but still doesn't top the live in San Fran version for me, there was something really special about the performance of every song on that DVD that I will never understand. Every time he's played the songs from that DVD since then I can't help but compare it to that performance. Don't get me wrong though this is still awesome in its own right and thanks for sharing the video

    Esse tecladista é o melhor que ja vi. Porem na guitarra ele estraga as musicas porque usa o timbre que ele quer, tira os temas como quer e toca muito alto. O anterior é melhor na base!

    • @slickstrings
      @slickstrings ปีที่แล้ว

      @@guvemrei remember joe years ago saying he wanted to reinvent himself a bit. A fresh band and outlook etc. I wasnt quite sure how ditching jeff, stew, eric etc was going to do that when he writes all the songs but... maybe playing with new styles needs new players. Who am i to judge

    • @antzooma
      @antzooma หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@guvemre when he made The Extremist album he completely changed the line up, he just does it sometimes. Vai does the same

  • @sanjugholley

    Exactly....the very starting rhythm section was enough to judge that yes it is not upto the mark, i didnt liked it at all compared to live in Sanfransisco....

    Marco on the drums really not a good fit for these songs! way too busy and the feel o f the songs require less flash and more groove
